LAOJoe & RTTRUTH's 11th Annual Collaborative Mock Draft

  1. RTTRUTH Legend Manager Colts

Alright, well I will have my phone. But going to pickup my daughter now. So Joe is a better bet for the next 45 mins or so.

I am MUCH higher on this prospect than the consensus and I also took him a round higher in the GMO and that wasn't a smokescreen. I give this guy a 2nd round grade. Time will tell how wrong I am but despite being a few picks away and thinking others still won't consider him until the 5th I wanted to be like a real GM and make sure I got my guy.

Yeah, it was interesting trying to decide between him, Fromm, another name that I think is still available and another that I expect to go much later. If Atlanta was still fully tied to outside zone blocking, someone like Hurts would be a really intriguing idea. But we seem to be going back the other direction, so he really wasn't the system fit that I was looking for.

He reminds me of Akiem Hicks. Extremely hard worker with a relentless motor. Not highly regarded in terms of other more polished guys in this class but you cannot teach effort. Also no shame in going and getting your guy regardless of how early.

This is only a highlight reel to show a quick glimpse of him. I've obviously seen more and not just the good but you can see why I like him here and why I especially think he could work well for the Eagles.

I’m not sold on this guy and I have misgivings about a QB named Eason, but the arm is too much value to pass up this late...

Patriots select QB Jacob Eason, UW

It’s at the very least great value. He will probably go around the middle of the 2nd next week

Pats are still looking for opportunities to consolidate our 6 remaining picks

    File under "FWIW":

I started out with a list that was 10 pages of 56 names per page. As of right now, pages 1 and 2 have all been picked, page 3 has 2 names left on it and page 4 has 4 names left.

lol! Didn't Tony play a major role in the 85 Pats run to get crushed by the Bears?

Hate to be that guy, but this math doesn’t check out for me

His role in that run was primarily “don’t fuck it up.” It was Craig James and Tony Collins that fueled that run. He played OK but was never the same after that game. Folded like a cheap chaise lounge at the faintest whiff of pressure.

In his defense. Arguably the scariest defense of all time.

Ravens at 4.23 could trade down.

They didn't stand a chance in SB XX...If there was ever a SB where you just kinda knew what was coming, it was that one. Chicago had just come off back to back playoff shutouts of the Redskins and Rams. They were not concerned with Eason or Grogan or whoever the Pats had. It was a mercy kill. At least New England scored.
