I think Honey Badger is a lazy comparison. I like him quite a bit though, mainly from his physicality and pretty fluid motion to make the coach's plays work out well. He's got an eye for the ball but he's getting a lot of them from deceptive play calling. You can actually see a few from this video. The question is if he can make his own opportunities in the pros.
You probably saw "you" as in yourself and not "you" as in general and then I changed it to "I" just in case you misread it... which you seem to do but let it go.
Expect Tim not to be on tonight. I don't know what RT's schedule is like tomorrow but he has a few early picks so he'll likely be on if I'm not.
I thought about taking Gay. I decided there were too many red flags - the character questions plus only six career starts - so I opted to trade down instead. Logan Wilson was also still available and would have been my pick ahead of Gay. I passed him up for the stupid reason that I already took him with that same pick in the GMO mock and wanted to mix things up in the top three rounds. Still... imagine Atlanta's defense with Deion Jones, Foye Oluokun, Davis-Gaither and Wilson in the LB group and Chaisson lined up opposite Dante Fowler for the pass rush. Maybe I should have stood pat and taken Logan Wilson again in this one.
Thanks for leaving a list when you figured you wouldn't be around. It would help if more people did that.
lol! He's a defensive back? He's not tricking them into throwing him the ball. He's just good at getting it, even though it wasn't intended for him..
The very first play on the highlight shows a prime example. Anyone can do that but he made a good job of not telegraphing it. It was made to look like the outside receiver didn't have a defender when there was one designed to be there the whole time. Of course he was good getting to it but there are some many pick machines in college that can't buy one in the league. The question is if he can make his own plays. And I've seen more than those highlights. Like I said I like him, his physicality and fluidness. Also Not tricking them into throwing him the ball? That part of the first play, for instance, was almost designed for that to happen if the receiver took that path. It's part of defensive play calling. Anyways I think I'm off for the night. Got other stuff to do and the sooner that's done the sooner I can get to bed.
Just so i'm clear...You are good with the JK Dobbins to (04 UVA) Pearman Comparison, but you can't see the Amik Robertrson to Tyrann Mathieu comp?
