FTR, I'd be happy with either, and might as well throw Wirfs and Wills in the mix.

I just wonder what we will do if Simmons is still on the board? Or if Berry has something major in mind? Like a move up...

Burrows belongs in Pittsburgh. So I agree with you

Maybe you guys should move up to number one and get a QB?

It will be interesting to see how Burrows does on a team that is less than perfect. I have a gut instinct that tells me that he might struggle.

I believe he will have a better season than Mayfield this year

"Okay Google... when's the last time the League MVP was a rookie?"

  8. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

I'd go further... if he goes to Cincinnati, he *won't* get another contract to be a starter in the NFL.

    Earl Campbell?

  10. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

    It's never happened.

The joke was Mayfield will be NFL MVP, so you think we should take Burrow who'll be better than league MVP.

I know what you meant. I wasn’t sure about Earl so I took a wild guess.

Jim Brown won AP MVP as a rookie in 1957...

Earl Campbell won PFWA MVP as a rookie in 1978...

Lyman, did Otto Graham win the MVP his rookie season?

  14. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Nope. Glenn Dobbs won the AAFC MVP in 1946.

  15. gidion72 Legend Steelers

I mean his rookie NFL season

  16. TopDawg Legend

That was his first season in pro football

  17. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Graham had already played four years as a pro before he played in the NFL.

  18. gidion72 Legend Steelers

Was he MVP or not his first NFL season

    Go Google it yourself.

    No award given in 1950...
Graham won it in 51, 53 and 55 though
