I had some trade offers so before I consider entertaining any I'm taking my first guy now.

He was my #2 CB in the draft and after a trade for a true #1 CB not materializing I need to grab him. Him and Rasul Douglas should put a bow on the position as far as needs go.

More athletic Keenan Allen. 3rd down/red zone beast

 

I'm sticking with the original plan. So far the trade down has worked but I won't know for sure how well it worked until at least after the 2nd since the whole process with possible trades and actual trades has been pretty dynamic.

FYI Fulton was my trade down target from 9 assuming I didn't get a #1 CB before then.

Jefferson was my #3 WR. Looks like a good chance he wasn't getting to me at #21 but who knows how the ripple effect of Lamb not going at 9 goes.

 

That's the guy I was half heartedly trying to move up for. nice pick.

 

Once the 2nd round is done I'll be open to saying what I likely would have done had I not traded down from 9.
