It is 5 sets of brothers. But 2 of those guys have 2 teams. That's how I incorrectly came up with 12 teams (33%) correctly.

49ers select Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama

I think he would be fun to watch in Kyle Shanahan’s offense. Him and Deebo Samuel add a lot of speed and will be tough to defend.

I feel like he’s going at 13 or 15 next Thursday

I would have gladly taken Derrick Brown there as well. Either way I went BPA, but also filled a need.

Still looking to trade down from 31 if anyone wants another 1st rounder. 49ers have no picks in rounds 2-4.

Personally I think the gap between Ruggs and most people's 4th and 5th is smaller than most ratings act like it is. But I'm not saying he isn't a really good prospect. Just feel like half the teams in the NFL would make him look pretty average in their scheme.

Ruggs isn't in my top 3.

Kind of what I'm saying. It's just the media. You can't find a rankings on any mock lately that doesn't put him top 3. They're more likely to jump Jeudy or Lamb with him at this point than to admit any WR behind those three might be better than Ruggs. And we've been at this a long time, so I can't help but think his 40 had just a little to do with that.

Its not a 3 horse race for the top WR in my book. I like 1 guy more. Plus WR depth is crazy
WRs 1-12 not that much different. Theres no Megatron or Julio in this draft.
Alot of Robins that could become Batman

Ruggs was my hope for KC. Could you imagine him taking the top off with Mahomes able to put 80 yards of air in a pass. How would anyone cover him with Hill, Kelce, Watkins, Hardaman already in the fold.

Ruggs is exactly the kind of guy some team overdrafts because of his speed. I'm not saying he won't be good -- just that there will be a team who sees that 4.27 40 and says I HAVE TO HAVE HIM.

    Speed kills.

Sometimes it kills the GM who drafted it.

That seems to me to happen quite often. Track-star speed gets drafted on the hope he can catch a ball. Speed kills at a high percentage.

When you have the most accurate and strongest armed QB in the NFL speed will kill opposing defenses just trying to figure out how to make it not burn you going long and hitting the other WRs underneath. On a lot of teams that speed would be useless. With Mahomes it would be a back breaker.
