When I was younger I attended Lutheran church only because my parents dragged my brother and me. Went through all the churchy stuff confirmation yada dada dada. As I got older I started questioning these very beliefs and thought less about prayer. I suppose I still believe in a supreme being, but I also believe that things happen for a reason and that no amount of prayer will ever change that. I think the Bible can be summed up in one sentence that can't be taken out of context and that I continue to live by and that is the Golden Rule. When I see how some of these so called church going people attack gay people, I often think if they were created gay then who am I to judge God's work? The same thing with Islam they seem to stretch the context and confine it so it fits their narrative as they often do with the Bible. Maybe I'm just a live and let live hippie at heart and all these holy rollers are full of shit. So to answer your question what's our purpose? It's to have fucking fun! Enjoy what is given to you, accept what is taken away from you and continue to move forward one foot in front of the other. If the Bible is correct then life’s purpose would be to serve God. Now what if this Coronavirus is the beginning of sorrows as Jesus said? Seeing that the title of the pope has the letters in it that add up to 666 it would seem that catholic teachings are of the beast. That would make the pope the anti-christ.
