One of the things that's easy to like about Reagor is how much of a dog he has in him with the ball in his hands. There are times though when he doesn't have that same will when the ball is in the air, which is kind of odd. Coleman is a different story altogether. It's almost like he was so used to having his way with DBs at the line of scrimmage in college that he became frustrated with not having it as easy as a pro. His quick separation should have been his greatest strength but he just gets rode down constantly. I can't see any kind of redemption coming for him based off of what he has displayed so far.
Just another embarrassing draft pick by my Browns. It's up there with Johnny and Gilbert as far as what we got out of it.
Since Will and the Lions sniped me a couple picks back, I'll go with plan B for the Pack here - The Green Bay Packers select: Raekwon Davis, DL - Alabama
The one thing we will never know (from where we scout) is what the one on one meetings go like for these guys. It could easily be that Corey was super smooth in his predraft interviews, exuded confidence and appeared to be the type of hard working, intelligent cat you want to take in that first round.
RT, I wasn't bringing it up so you could take shots at the Browns. And that's bullshit anyway. A lot of people liked Coleman coming out of Baylor, and we weren't the only team looking at Johnny. lol!
Unless I read that wrong, I think he meant that Gilbert was a player that a lot of people liked and Coleman wasn't.
I edited it because I typed it up backwards, but I didn't think he was taking a shot. It's like Jacksonville taking Justin Blackmon. He was almost universally the #1 WR in that class and he was a tremendous bust. You can't fault a team for making that pick. I think that's what he was saying about Gilbert.
No, I was simply saying that if you guys hadn’t taken Gilbert at nine, probably three or four other teams would’ve taken him before pick 20. Coleman as well, probably a few more teams would’ve done it in the next 20 pics. If there’s one I could try and ding the Browns over it would be Johnny. You don’t have to go further than our conversations here about the QB rankings to know that there was clear risk associated
The Miami dolphins select Jeremy Chinn, S, South Illinois I think he will fit perfectly in the Patrick Chung role
Dolphins offering 4.141 and 5.154 for anyone who wishes to trade down. I will also throw in a player if need be
