This is a receiver that I am positive will rank higher on my board than just about anywhere else.

    I'm thinkin Kelvin Harmon style

I don't think he'll come in as high as Harmon.

He probably won't hit the Boykin marker either.

But I can see him with an early second round score when it's finalized.

I just remember you being higher on him than most...

What are your thoughts on Jalen Reagor? Can he be the next Tyreek Hill?

  13. Campbell Administrator Manager Commissioner

Doesn't have the wheels or wiggle to be a Tyreek clone but I understand why a lot of people like that comparison.

He could morph into a really nice utility player if given an opportunity. In fact, I have him comped to a watered down Percy Harvin on my spreadsheet.

    Talking about Harmon -

If the Redskins decide to slot Sims and start Harmon opposite of McLaurin then the potential is going to be there for Kelvin to become a solid possession receiver.

I still believe he has an Anquan Boldin level ceiling but opportunities can be difficult for compilers to come by.

Demarcus Robinson is probably a good recent example. When given opportunity and targets he produces but he has had very little interest in free agency because splash plays will always stand out more on tape, and sometimes in a coaches memory, than a guy that simply puts his boots on and completes the job everyday.

I appreciate your take, but I have to disagree on what he could be at the next level. Given his skill set, sky is the limit IMO. Depends on how bad he wants it, and how much does he love the game, but Reagor's high jump, broad jump and pure foot speed tells me that he could be much more than a utility player in the NFL....It'll be interesting to see where he lands, and how he develops. One to keep an eye on.

    To be clear -

I'm not limiting him to being a utility player.

What I'm suggesting is a team that gets creative with how to use his skill set (like Percy Harvin) would maximize his potential.

Percy Harvin was a really special and extremely dangerous player in the NFL when he kept it together, and he was at his best when teams used him everywhere on the field.

If anyone has a DB they are looking to move pm me

    I think he just got a headache....:point:

I know he was, and I can see the comparison.

I don't know if Reagor will be like Tyreek Hill or like Corey Coleman. They all have god given abilities that most humans don't. That's why I always want to know "how much do they love football?"....Hopefully JR will be more like Tyreek. (at least on the field.o_O)

It’s funny that you reference Coleman, and then talk about how much they love football. Because I will never forget scouting Corey Coleman, and I remember loving his receiving skills. But I also remember that I never saw a wide receiver block less for the run game than Corey Coleman did. Probably didn’t attempt two blocks all season

My sisters go after the football with more effort than Coleman...I hated watching that guy play in Cleveland. Or "not play" I should say...

That's exactly why I mentioned Corey,. You can tell he doesn't love football.
