I don't know what you guys have planned out for the Jets but the OT situation on the board looks good and they just signed Vaitai and guards. I dunno if that counts as discounting a top tackle. But they signed a million guys at other positions lol.

I looked at his moves and I don't see a grade A starter or significant upgrade at tackle, and that is what he got out of a coin flip.

That’s fine lol I like Tua and if he’s healthy he’s a franchise QB. I didn’t take offense, not everyone will agree on every prospect or every pick.

 

Talking about QBs, Herbert was the top option for the Chargers, not counting the guy at #1 overall.

 

Jeudy lasting to 12 is such a massive steal. It may just happen to.

 

The one thing that scares me about Tua is -- when is he ever healthy?

A freak hip injury was his only serious injury. He had a couple ankle surgeries on each ankle for a sprain so that it wouldn’t happen again. I agree he’s injury prone, but to roll the dice on a franchise QB it had to be done. I’m not as high on Herbert at a top 10 pick and when tua is healthy he’s arguably the best QB in college football.

 

Or, we could see someone jump ahead of the Jets to land one of the top wideouts and it causes a run to happen where we see up to 5 come off the board before pick 18.
