FYI . . . When I update the Google Spreadsheet, I often have to do the math for the post time in my head. If you think you're close to the 48 hour deadline, go to "Search Forums", type in the name of the player. The posts returned under your search will have a precise time noted.
Redskins rescind bid on OT Riley Reiff $13,000,000 Previous bid was CLE at $11m, but they also rescinded on Reiff at a higher number. Not sure what applies here.
It's a little more complicated than that. Since the opening bid, there has only been two teams bidding and both of those teams have now rescinded bids.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Once you have rescinded on a player, any and all previous bids are rescinded. Also you can no longer get back in on bidding of said player....
That applies if you win the bid but refuse to sign him. Not sure if you rescind a bid on a player that all prior bids from that team for a specific player are rescinded as well.
Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Personally, I don't think previous bids should be automatically voided. That's different numbers and obviously could change an owners mind about getting out of the bidding..
What if you just start back at 0? I’m sure there’s somebody (even the same owners) that will throw bids in... just my two cents
Unless I rescind that bid, as well - which I would do (see: Andrew Whitworth). That would put it back to you at $8M. Now, if you rescind your $8M bid, that puts it back to me at $6M and the 48 hour clock resets.
