Are you rescinding your $15,500,000 bid on Armstead?

 

If there's no time limit on rescinding bids, I'd like to rescind mine on Robert Quinn.

 

You just out bid me on armstead? I changed my mind by not re-upping the bid to $18,000,000 mil lol sorry for the confusion

 

I meant I will not be re-bidding on him. If you don’t want him at $17,000,000 I will take him at $15,500,000

 

That's what I needed to know. Makes this a LOT simpler.

 

The dolphins sign Dante Fowler (LAR) $13,500,000

 

The Seahawks sign Carl Nassib for $6,000,000.

If confirmed that the bid is one, the Seahawks will be signing Jason Pierre-Paul for $6,000,000.

Your bid on Quinn is still within the 48 hour period. You can rescind it and the bid then reverts to the prior high bid ($13,000,000 NYG posted on 3/7/20 at 4:36 pm).

Need help with a ruling here cuz I'm stoopid . . .

IF Axe rescinds his bid and it reverts to the NYG bid from 3/7/20 . . . Do the Giants get awarded the player immediately -or- does the 48 hour clock reset when Axe rescinds his bid?

The Giants have the option to sign immediately or rescind. If they rescind, it goes back one more bid and the 48 hour clock restarts.

 

If you could double-check that, it'd be appreciated. I thought I got in right under the wire.

I'm pretty sure you either posted it on the minute of the deadline or one minute after.

I'd have to let Lym and Will make a ruling on whether or not a bid is valid if it is made at the exact same time as the deadline or if that is considered a closed bid.

No matter how it comes down, please try to be at least 5 minutes early to avoid this, lol.

 

Agreed. Something popped up for me that got my wheels turning (slowly) and I tried to do 3 things at once...

 

If you wait about a minute the exact time on his post should show instead of doing math off of the clock.

Sooooo.... Can someone tell me if I have to sign Quinn or if Axe still has the top bid lol. I want to make sure I understand whatever is happening right now. I need to make some quick adjustments if I won him.

 

You can sign him if you want to or you can pass on that bid and it will revert to the previous with a new 48 hour clock.
