New York Giants team summary as of 3.13.2020 8:59 AM Free Agents signed: Anthony Harris, S Matt Paradis, C Jack Conklin, OT Robert Quinn, EDGE Prince Amukamura, CB 3 RFA tenders whose names I'm too lazy to spell correctly Giants 2020 Cap # $205,695,169 Existing Dead Money 3999121 New Dead Money 2313383 Rookie Pool 13090869 Roster Cap $170,379,343 Space Remaining (inc. Rookies) $15,912,453 The Giants must have the most expensive O-line in the league at this point and the fans are still angry it won't be enough... They also brought back former first round pick Prince Amukamara. Prince was generally well liked but always banged up, so they let him walk. He's been nicked with the Bears but generally in better shape than his career started. Now with a stable full of 2nd year players in the DB room he is the stabilizing vet they need so they have at least one guy out there who isn't still learning how to play at the pro level...
Really I probably need to cut to 53 because it's really a 53+2 with heavy restriction on the +2. But 55 better shows the people really fighting for the spots, although some battles could be intriguing. Mills is moved back to CB but in the slot since I didn't cut Jenkins. LB is still shallow but the base package will surely be nickel so only 2 LBs should be on the field. That should likely usually be Nate Gerry and whoever else wins the starting job. The roster has room for hypothetical trades to get another LB or something during camp as there are plenty of positions with depth.
