Josh Norman is now available. Any takers?

He and Odell could perfect their after the whistle takedowns every day in practice.

He does have the feet for what you are talking about, but it seems like at least half the teams are running TE's out of the slot, and we've seen what happens when DW tries to square up on an opposing TE. I think Denzel is a helluva player because he has some amazing physical abilities. Mirroring the speedy quick WR's is something he does quite well, but I'm concerned about the concussions already. Not sure I want him in that middle.

That’s why I said ‘more often than not’.

When the offense brings out the inside slot instead of the tight end moving off line, Ward should be shrinking in.

Basically, I want him matched up against the smallest option because of both the injury concern and his inability to parry physically with larger players, combined with him having the quicks to mirror those types.

It was a predraft concern that has pretty much solidified early in Ward’s career.

Anyone expecting to retain Greg Robinson for LT, RT or otherwise... Not going to happen..

Reportedly, enough weed to face federal charges of possession with intent to distribute. He gone.

In light of that news, here's some names to seriously start to consider:

Given that Tristian Wirfs (OT, Iowa) is a right tackle projected as a guard at the next level, the Browns will have to choose between the fourth best tackle at #10 or sign a guy in free agency.

Friendly reminder that one of the Tenets of Analytics was that you simply do not draft an offensive tackle - the development takes too long, so the prudent move is to sign a guy another team has developed to play the position.

My money's on #10 not being an offensive player.

I think it fits his coverage skills but slot CBs are asked to do far more in run support than they have in the past with so many teams using RPOs and/or running out of 11 personnel. The answer for many teams is to have a safety who can slide down and cover the slot. If I'm an OC / QB and Ward is the nickel CB I'm gonna run the ball - alot.

As with TD’s post earlier, that’s a fair point.

I’m kind of stumbling through an old habit of expecting people to understand what I mean by having him slot up. If I would have been clearer from the beginning it would feel less like defending the original idea and more like clarification.

It’s less about where he’s lining up and more about who he is matching up with.

So maybe I'm missing something but how in the world does anyone think they're getting 157lbs of weed across the border.

"Yes officer. We're taking this oregano directly to McCormick's" Guess the Border Patrol didn't bite.

Not that he didn't need replacing before but now Greg Robinson has been busted for 157lbs of weed and faces 20 years in prison.

Will this circus we call the Browns ever end?

This one also qualifies for the Dumbass thread.

Almost as good as the trunk full Bam Morris was haulin......

Didn't Nate Newton actually get busted twice with hundreds of pounds of weed? smh... I mean, how do you not learn your lesson on that?

As impressive as the 157 pound number that Robinson put up was, I think Nate still holds the record at well over 200.

Nate had more both times. And it was like 1 or 2 weeks between his getting busted.

    Woo-hoo! Back in it.

Not only do we need two tackles, says a lot about Nick Chubb as a player and person that folks are lining up to block for him.

Who wouldn't want to block for this guy? The ultimate team player. #24

The question is, do we continue on with Kareem Hunt? He's obviously talented, but is he worth the headache? At this point, I don't expect him to stop his idiocy....Dude could be holding a SB ring right now, but bad decisions continue to derail him.

At the same time, I don't blame the Browns for clinging to Hunt's team friendly contract, in hopes that he will get his shit together....

Bottom line on Hunt: not a guy to be counted on.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just say, "Adios, Kareem!", and then walk away from the draft with...
