    3. Wirfs would be a perfect fit in the zone-blocking system that Stefanski (likely) will want to run. That's high for a right tackle, but he's a phenomenal RT prospect and Chris Hubbard was very clearly the weakest link in that offensive line.

A name getting a *lot* of buzz at the Senior Bowl is Adam Trautman, TE of Dayton.

Browns should be in the market for a guy like this...

    A couple more names that generated buzz Senior Bowl week;

Javon Kinlaw, DT - South Carolina
    Per Bleacher Report

    1. According to Reese's Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy, the opposing players voted Kinlaw as a South Team Practice Player of the Week.

Clearly, he earned the respect of his peers, which is enough to take a second look at his tape. The chiseled 6'5⅛", 315-pound defensive tackle's collegiate numbers don't tell the full story. He logged 82 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 10 sacks in three terms. Yet, NFL.com's Lance Zierlein saw so much more in the former Gamecock.

"Kinlaw isn't the most skilled rusher at this point, but it was hard to look at him operate and not start to see similarities with Kansas City Chiefs standout Chris Jones," Zierlein wrote. "Kinlaw always had the traits, but the way he dominated the competition here in Mobile likely propelled him into the middle of the first round."

Coming into Senior Bowl week, Kinlaw had first-round buzz. Despite his abbreviated showing, he could be a top-15 selection in April.

    Josh Jones, OT - Houston

    1. The 2020 draft class will feature plenty of solid prospects at offensive tackle—likely through the first two rounds. Josh Jones may have boosted his stock into top-32 territory.

The Houston product looked light on his feet in mirror drills, where he was tasked with staying in front of a pass-rusher and keeping him away from the pocket. He had a good rep against Syracuse's Alton Robinson, who recorded two sacks in the bowl.

Furthermore, Michael Renner of Pro Football Focus highlighted Jones' ability to shift from the perimeter to the interior and still wall off defenders.

"No offensive tackle had a higher win rate in the one-on-ones than Jones' 64 percent this week," Renner wrote. "Even flipping from left to right to guard, Jones showed he's every bit a first-round talent."

Jones will likely line up at his natural position of left tackle at the pro level. With that said, his ability to play multiple positions, at least on the practice field, shows a blend of power, quickness and good leverage against players with various sizes and strengths.

As Renner suggested, Jones may have entered the first-round conversation if he wasn't in that discussion already.

    Absolutely!

    1. I'd prefer not to face him twice a season for the next decade.

    2. Cincinnati is *way* more than a QB away from being a respectable team. Get the ammunition and pad the roster.

    Trade him to the Steelers.

Something tells me that even the Bengals will want more than your top (2nd round) pick. But keep wishing, Gidiot.

    Myles Garrett reinstated by NFL.

The NFL on Wednesday reinstated Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, effective immediately.

The decision came down just two days after Garrett, who was suspended indefinitely for his role in a late-game brawl between the Browns and Steelers, met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday at the league office in New York. Garrett's reinstatement will allow him to be with the team and participate in offseason workouts, which are slated to begin in early April.

"We welcome Myles back to our organization with open arms," said Browns EVP of Football Operations and General Manager Andrew Berry. "We know he is grateful to be reinstated, eager to put the past behind him and continue to evolve and grow as a leader. We look forward to having his strong positive presence back as a teammate, player and person in our community."

Garrett was suspended indefinitely Nov. 15, one day after he ripped off Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph's helmet and hit him over the top of the head with it at the end of Cleveland's 21-7, Thursday Night Football victory at FirstEnergy Stadium. Garrett's appeal was denied, and he ultimately missed the final six games of the season.

    Welcome back Miles. Lesson learned?

Still feel like the racial slur he brought up incentivized the NFL to soften up a little on his punishment.

Y'all have Mason "Dixon Line" Rudolph and Delvin "Duck" Hodges... why would you need Joe Burreaux?

    In related news . . .

The NFL upheld the $50,000 fine levied against Mason Rudolph surrounding the same incident.

    Offseason team needs for the Cleveland Browns needs to start with the O-line.....Here's a possibility and a name to keep in mind;

    Brandon Scherff, OG - Redskins

    1. The Washington Redskins should make a concerted effort to re-sign three-time Pro Bowl right guard Brandon Scherff, but if he goes elsewhere, the Cleveland Browns need him on the offensive line.

Under former general manager John Dorsey, the Browns traded right guard Kevin Zeitler and a fifth-round pick to the New York Giants for defensive end Olivier Vernon and a fourth-rounder.

Between the 2017 and 2018 terms, Zeitler had been a stable component in the Browns' pass protection. He suited up for all 16 games and allowed just three sacks, per the Washington Post's STATs.

In 2019, Cleveland ranked 17th in pass protection, per Football Outsiders, and shuffled the personnel at right guard under head coach Freddie Kitchens. Eric Kush opened the year at the position. Wyatt Teller took over for the majority of games in the second half of the season.

The Browns can solidify the spot with a proven starter who has the accolades to suggest he's one of the top players leaguewide at his position.

Under new head coach Kevin Stefanski, Cleveland hired Bill Callahan as its offensive line coach. He spent five seasons in the same position with the Redskins, directly aiding Scherff's development from 2015-19.

The Browns can use Callahan's connection with Scherff to replace Zeitler and bolster their offensive line for the long term.

In all seriousness, how wild would it be if the teams at the top of the draft actually handled their issues correctly, instead of at least three teams in the Top 9 picks swinging on a rookie signal caller. Burreaux seems legit, I normally would worry about the one good year on tape, but it was objectively the best year for a QB in NCAA history. Tagovailoa, despite being just a guy, is a massive injury liabilty and Justin Herbert looks like a clone of Blake Gabbert and Blaine Bortles.

Imagine if Miami signs local guy Teddy Bridgewater in free agency. The ammunition that team would have to fix its problems -- and that's a roster that won five games with far less talent than the Browns had when Hue Jackson was taking us through 1-31.

If Las Vegas, in a push to boost visibility and make the splash hosting the Draft moves all the way up to #1 with Cincinnati to take Burreaux and Cincinnati, knowing it's 10-15 starters away and at least two years out doesn't do the Mike Brown thing and screw it up.

If Carolina, who looks to be losing pieces left and right, decides to move on from Cam Newton and makes a play for Tua JAG-ovailoa or Herbert. Imagine Chicago, Detroit (rumored to be shopping Matt Stafford), or Los Angeles Chargers getting on the Cam sweepstakes.

    Would be a wild season...

an incredible pool of QBs "on the bubble". Manning & Brees hang it up, but is it Bridgewater or Hill, and whoever it isn't, is out there. Brady is shopping, though I believe he returns to NE. Rivers? Dalton? Flacco? Tannehill? Newton? Winston? And then there's the draft pool.

Are QBs becoming interchangeable beyond the top 10? Dollars and sense may be relegating the "less than top tier" QBs to commodities.

Is this a reality, or just a moment in time? Does any team want to pay the "established" QB soaring salaries, or look to youngsters to be capable of mid level QB play, at far lower prices, that could be invested in foundational pieces (line). Are the rules making mid level QBs "good enough"?

Who will he throw to in Vegas? After the Antonio Brown debacle, the Raiders have some glaring holes to fill...

They DO have the ammunition though. If Mayock and Gruden decide they can't live with Carr anymore and it's time to upgrade, they have the firepower to make it happen....
