RR got all sensitive about it and fired off the now infamous "troll-post".......This is the Browns forum...That's the point you conveniently keep ignoring over and over...

Seems to me @TopDawg was disagreeing with RR3's defense of themselves that they're not "a troll", rather than calling the 'clap-back' post a troll post.

RR3: "Not a troll, but... "

TopDawg: "All evidence to the contrary."

I think you guys have no idea what a troll actually is. There's a difference between smack talk and trolling.

 

SAS posts, RR responds (and quotes SAS) - not a conversation. Got it.

Another TD post. You literally based your initial post around the fact that RR said, "Not a troll" not realizing that he was simply quoting Sam's initial post (and the use of the word troll). You're "hard evidence" was you literally taking the whole thing out of context. And you can't see it.

p.s. The "Browns board" stuff is stupid. I will post where I like, when I like. Deal with it.

Your posts are indeed often bait. TD's acknowledgement that he gets so much joy out of people falling hook, line and sinker is the hypocritical part.

 

That's like... 40% of my schtick.

It would be hypocritical of both TD and myself if we went to other pages and either left bait or trolled for folks there. When I post troll bait here and some troll takes the bait (I'm certain you've heard the expression "time to feed the trolls") and then we have a laugh at their expense when they take the bait... there's nothing hypocritical at all in deriving enjoyment out of that.

It's one of the fundamental rules of the internet. Between "never click on an unknown url" and "rule 34".

Seems like everyone's got their own take on what defines trolling.....My definition of trolling is pretty simple. Where are you making your remarks? If I was throwing out "shots" (as bum called it) on the Ravens board or the steelers board, then I would be trolling. Not a difficult equation to comprehend, although one would never know it by the embarrassment of the last couple pages here...

If you are gonna come to the Browns board and "fire a shot", you just might get a response from me, regardless of whether you were speaking directly to me or not....Guess you'll just have to deal with it, bum.

To the point about "Browns board stuff"... I don't think there's anything wrong with this being "base" for Browns fans, just as other pages are home to those fans. I will bait, and sh*t-post, and argue until I'm blue in the face on our boards, but I would carry myself differently on other pages... I don't think that's unique to me or my approach.

The Brown board is home-sweet-home for many of us and interlopers may be tolerated to a point.

The Steelers, Ravens, or Bears pages? Well, as ol' Ben put it best...

Apologies to RR for not wording it better, but I think my point could be understood....I made it very clear that I respected him as one of the better posters.
