I like other teams' fans coming to the Browns boards to talk football....That never really seems to be the agenda though.

Cleveland Browns have averaged 4.8 wins per season since 1999.

When your team learns how to play football.....we'll talk.

    Just a quick take on the new Browns coach;

Kevin Stefanski was impressive at his introductory press conference today. It's the first time I've ever heard him speak. He's young, but he has a quality about his persona that will demand respect. Something that, unfortunately, Freddie sorely lacked...My favorite part was when he said, "Personalities are welcome, but production is what matters." ...The players should love to hear that as well.

Myles Garrett is set to become the newest $100-million NFL player.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the Cleveland Browns and Garrett reached an agreement on a five-year extension worth $125 million, per sources informed of the situation. Rapoport added Garrett's deal includes $50 million fully guaranteed at signing and $100 million in total guarantees.

With two years remaining on his rookie deal, Garrett is now under contract in Cleveland through the 2026 season.

While Aaron Donald (six years, $135 million) and Khalil Mack (six years, $141 million) signed extensions with more overall money, the $25 million per year in new money on Garrett's deal is tops among defenders.

Garrett missed the final six games of the 2019 season due to suspension but will be sticking around Cleveland for many more contests to come. The NFL reinstated the pass rusher in February after he was the center of an ugly brawl with the Pittsburgh Steelers and swung a helmet at quarterback Mason Rudolph.

The No. 1 overall pick in 2017, Garrett's combination of size, speed and athleticism makes him a menace off the edge when on the field. Injuries during his rookie campaign and the suspension, however, have wiped out 11 games in three seasons. In 37 tilts, Garrett has compiled 30.5 sacks, 65 QB hits, 104 tackles and 32 tackles for loss. Last year, he earned 10 sacks in 10 games. There is no question the 24-year-old is among the most talented pass rushers in the NFL.

The Browns are betting we've still not seen the peak for the ultra-athletic edge rusher, who has grown each year in the league.

NFL teams pay players for what they project to do down the road, not what they've already done. Garrett's new deal demonstrates the Browns' belief that big things are ahead for Garrett.

Myles Garrett was destroying racist statues before 2020 made it cool.

    Reasonable Expectations:
2021 should be a hell of a year.
What kind of havoc does a lost year have on players, new coaches, salaries, two drafts, and clearly much more.........

With Camp alledgedly starting, and no protocols for what happens when a player is diagnosed..............?

I'm worried that this season will damn any chance for us to have a franchise quarterback for another decade. We're getting set up for fail this season without having a real summer and the new coach looking to get his player if they do. A new GM probably wants that too. Or the season gets bungled and the staff wants to call a mulligan so they take on the option for the fifth year and we find out Baker isn't the guy next season. Then we just wasted another year trying to salvage Dorsey's years. This whole thing puts the nerves in me.

I'm not convinced there will, in fact, be a 2020 NFL season. We've already seen what can happen to expectations of an NCAA season. It went from having robust player safety rules to conference only schedules to nada in a heartbeat.

My advise . . . Find a hobby to occupy your time this fall and winter.

You can throw in some pretty good odds of the MLB season being cut short as well. Just look at the actions of Clevinger and Plesac for the Indians. There will be others.......
