In the car today they were playing a Rush song for tribute to Peart and they played Working Man, and the thought running through my head while listening and enjoying the song was that that was the only Rush album that Peart didn't appear on. They had a different drummer on their first album.
When I was a kid I had no idea there was a storyline behind 2112, or didn't understand it. When I learned about the storyline based on Ayn Rands philosphy about a future dystopian society, it blew me away. A society that's never heard about music, then they discover music intruments and songs from the past and have to go through the high priests, sounds like a N Korea.

Graham Chapman, but 1989 isn't recent. Gilliam, Cleese, Idle, and Palin are all alive and kicking in their late 70's - early 80's. Edit: Just remembered Neil Innes passed away in late December. He wrote music for their albums in the 70's.
