he wasn't 5-7 with them. all 3 wrs missed games this year. again you're putting words in my mouth and making shit up. i already posted this twice. now from the cheap seats - IF ALL 3 PLAYED THE ENTIRE SEASON, HIS STATS ARE BETTER THAN THEY ALREADY ARE! I doubt the team goes 9-7 with a healthy RB and WR corps all season long. they won the last 4 games with a bunch of nobodies and an ex-QB as a wr. how wouldn't they be better with their 3 starters over the last 4 games? how can't you see that?

I'm not making a damn thing up, Cat. YOU said that they sucked, not me. YOU said Wentz was done in this town, not me.

Neither Jeffrey nor Agholor played in the final 4 games - is it just a coincidence that the Eagles WON those 4 games and the offense looked more coherent?

I've agreed with you on this at least three times now. When you decide to address what I write and not what you want to argue about, let me know.

I've answered this several times already.

looked more coherent? what games were you watching? they needed OT to win one of them and a gift to win two of the others?

all you said was they would be better if healthy, but per you Wentz still doesn't deserve any MVP talk in your eyes bc his heroics weren't all that great.

so who cares what i said a month ago? they were 5-7 and just blew a 28-14 lead to miami. all i know is take out 3 starting WRs from any team's lineup and they suffer. The Eagles were only 9-7 this year and let several wins/games get away. They should really be 12-4. i put that all the injuries. so they won the last 4 games with a bunch of nobodies. it doesn't mean those same nobodies are better than jeffery, jackson and aghulor ! it's also irrelevant how many moose balls they suck bc i said they suck. who cares what i say. everyone knows that those 3 are better than the wrs corps they won with the last 4 weeks. me saying they suck doesn't change a damn thing.

who would you rather have healthy axe - jeffery, aghulor and jackson or ward, perkins, or anyone else?

Eagles averaged 21 first downs per game in their first 12 games; last 4 it was 25.5.
Eagles average 342 yards of offense in their frist 12 games; they average 416 in the last 4.
Eagles season average in time of possession was 32:47; in the last 4 games they held it 42:51 (OT game), 36:57, 36:12 before 31:25 in the finale.

Yeah, to me the offense looked a lot more coherent.

Correct. Even with the 4-game win streak, MY OPINION is that Wentz isn't in the MVP-candidate debate outside of Lamar Jackson.

Christian McCaffrey had 1000 yards rushing AND receiving - believe that's only the third time that's EVER happened.
Michael Thomas obliterated the catch record.
Shaq Barrett and Chandler Jones each had 19 or more sacks.
Stephon Gilmour led the league in INTs, and had more INTs returned for a TD that he allowed as a CB.
Russell Wilson had a 31-5 TD-INT ratio, and won 11 games in a much more difficult division. He did it with no Doug Baldwin (retired after 2018 season), and with Tyler Lockett sick or injured for stretches.

So, sorry (not sorry) that I don't put him in that discussion. You're just going to have to get over the fact that my opinion is different from yours.

Michael Thomas has a future HOF QB throwing to him. Lets see what Brees would do with Perkins, Ward and some guy off of Broad Street ? haha. I'm kidding. Brees has been great for 20+ seasons and at Purdue. And there is no debate on MVP as it's Jackson. Wentz won't be in the top 10 of voting if they even go that far in votes. Just saying what he did all season with a MASH unit was damn impressive, my rantings a month ago or not. I would've liked to have seen him with a healthy roster as this year it was his RB and WR hurt whereas he was hurt in the past 2 seasons. Maybe fall 2020?

More people are watching the NFL on TV. Fewer people are watching the NFL in person.

According to David Broughton and Andrew Levin of Sports Business Daily, the NFL averaged 66,648 attendees at home games in 2019. That’s the lowest average since 2004.

The Cowboys averaged 90,929, leading the league for 11 straight seasons. Fifteen teams saw a decline in attendance, led by the Jaguars (8.7 percent drop), Raiders (7.6 percent) and Bengals (7.0 percent).

Two teams saw an increase of more than five percent. Washington’s audience grew by 7.3 percent (the stadium was still at less than 80 percent capacity), and the Bills have a 6.0-percent jump.

Several years ago, the league suspended the blackout policy, which blocked local broadcast of home games if all non-premium tickets weren’t sold. Despite efforts to improve the in-stadium experience, there’s no substitute for winning.

Attendance peaked in 2016, with 69,487 per game. In 2004, 66,328 attended each game, on average.

The Chicago Bears made Eddie Jackson the highest-paid safety in football.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports the Bears and Jackson agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension worth $58.4 million, per Jackson's agents. The safety gets $33 million total in guarantees and $22 million fully guaranteed.

The $14.6 million yearly average makes Jackson the highest-paid at the position.

A ball-hawking safety, Jackson has been a playmaking force on the backend of a stalwart Bears defense, compiling 10 interceptions, 26 passes defended, three touchdowns, two sacks and 184 tackles in three seasons in Chicago. Jackson was selected to his second straight Pro Bowl this year and took home first-team All-Pro honors in 2018.

A fourth-round pick out of Alabama, Jackson was a steal with the 112th pick in 2017 by Bears general manager Ryan Pace. With one year remaining on Jackson's rookie contract, Pace didn't drag his feet, locking up the centerpiece of his secondary as soon as the safety was eligible for an extension. Jackson becomes the first 2017 selection to sign a new deal. The pact keeps him under contract through the 2024 season.

Questions abound about the Bears on the offensive side of the football, but the defense remains stellar. Locking down Jackson beyond next season with a no-brainer extension ensures playmakers on D will remain in the Windy City as Matt Nagy & Co. figure out the offense.

I think if Henry can run then the Titans stand a chance. If Tannahill has to pass it could be a long day.

Not my rodeo but my guess is Axe will just say, "After giving it more thought I came to a different conclusion." What's so wrong about being wrong about something? Personally, I love the fact that Tim preserves all these posts. I'm sure it comes at an expense to him. But if you can't own your own words you shouldn't be typing them. I would hate to be a part of a place where people could just run off at the mouth without consequence. Credibility should matter.

ok so i can't change my mind? circumstances happened to the eagles to change my mind? how about that?

axe was using old posts to counter something i said now, which is pretty petty. the eagles would be better with their 3 starting wrs in the lineup. even axe said that. after the miami loss, eagles fans were angry and pissed at the team and wentz; me included. so i can't post now without it being used against me a month later? that's fucking bullshit. then everyone is on notice then Beach Bum. Nothing we say is safe anymore, as anyone can copy and paste an old post to use against someone. that's not the vision i think Tim had when he made this site. and many people on here besides me run off at the mouth. credibility? ha! people change their stance all the time on here. Browns fans were thinking playoffs 5 months ago. Now they may need a new QB. Things change. Our opinions and thought process change. Now we have to tread lightly on here bc someone can use it against us. great.
