    Awesome Brooklyn Brawler reference.

I was thinking same thing, Fitzmagick was due for a turnover. Pats just royally fucked themselves. A bye and subsequent home game gave this team a legitimate shot at the title, now I’m not so confident

This just in: The Detroit Lions are the most pathetic, choke artist, loser franchise in the history of sports.

Wait that's not news you knew that already.

  5. Kyreal Franchise Player Ravens

Great job Dolphins on basically smacking the Patriots down today. From a team that didn't look like it could beat a college team early this year, to putting the Patriots into the Wild Card round. Well played!

Ravens set single-season team rushing yards record

The 2019 season started with major questions about what the Ravens offense would look like and one of the answers is that it has a rushing offense that’s surpassed every other in team history.

A nine-yard run by Gus Edwards in the second quarter of Sunday’s game put the Ravens at 3,172 team rushing yards for the season. That breaks the record of 3,165 rushing yards set by the Patriots during the 1978 season, so it has been a long time since the league’s seen this kind of production on the ground.

Sunday’s effort to expand that record will take place without two of the players most responsible for setting it as quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Mark Ingram are both sitting out against the Steelers.

Baltimore was able to take a 6-0 lead without their help, but now trail their AFC North rivals 7-6 in the second quarter.

Titans earn final AFC playoff spot by beating Texans

The Titans are headed to the playoffs.

Ryan Tannehill threw two touchdowns in the first half, Derrick Henry ran for three in the second half and the Titans knocked off the Texans 35-14 on Sunday afternoon. That makes them an AFC Wild Card team and they’ll be the No. 6 seed in the conference.

That means head coach Mike Vrabel will be returning to his former stomping grounds of New England for a matchup with Bill Belichick’s Patriots team. The two teams did not meet this season, but the Titans beat the Patriots in Nashville during the 2018 season.

Tennessee’s move into playoff contention coincided with their decision to put Tannehill in the starting lineup in Week Seven. They’ve gone 7-3 since that point and Tannehill has played good football throughout the run. He was 13-of-20 for 198 yards on Sunday and has shown a growing connection with rookie wideout A.J. Brown down the stretch this season.

Brown had four catches for 124 yards and a touchdown on Sunday and Henry ran 32 times for 211 yards in an effort that showed his hamstring is just fine for the postseason and netted him the NFL’s rushing title for the 2019 season. The final run was a 53-yard score with just over three minutes to play and it put the final touches on a big win that keeps the Titans in business at least one more week.

He never should have been hired as the Head Coach in the first place.

Kitchens was an awful coach for sure, but the players were an embarrassment to themselves and their fans. Losing to that terrible Bengals team today means they simply packed it in or simply tanked just to get their coach fired. Either way, they have no heart, and I don't care who you bring in, you're never adding that. They need roster turnover with players who will give it their all. OBJ et al. are as far removed from that as possible.

There might be some poor attitudes on the roster in Cleveland , but there is plenty of talent also. The right coach should be able to turn things around I would think. Browns arnt bad on paper, just need some guidance.

  15. gidion72 Legend Steelers

They were great on paper before the season. Were some media's pick for the SB.

Here's the problem - football is a team game and not individual. In 2012, the Ravens were far from the most talented roster in the league, but they played as a team forged around the end of Ray Lewis's career.

Look at the steelers of recent history. What did having the talent of ben, brown, and bell do for them? They won what 1 playoff game against a Bengals team that imploded on itself? Me first players don't guarantee success.

Talented at what? OBJ will never be on a successful team. He only cares about himself. Sheldon Richardson has been on 4 teams in 4 years. Why is that? Baker Mayfield is looking like the 4th most talented QB of the '18 draft and has an attitude problem.

Dorsey should be gone - tomorrow.

Kareem Hunt is talented, Nick Chubb, thats a good 1 2 punch in the backfield. Mayfield needs an attitude adjustment and some maturation, but he is talented, in my opinion. OBJ is a Richard cranium, but he is also talented. Other receivers on that team are also talented. Some stars in the making on defense also.

You cant possibly be insinuating the Browns are not a talented football team, because they are, in my opinion, they need direction and a fresh start. I think they can flip that 6-10 record to 10-6 if the right guy is in charge... purely speculation on my part tho, but I like what I see in Cleveland, its definitely something that can be built upon.

Every team has talent in the way you are describing. You can look at every roster and point out a few players. The fact is, no one was calling the 2018 Browns "talented".

Then they went out and got OBJ, Richardson and Vernon and everyone started freaking out. They looked at these shiny new toys without acknowledging they gave up Peppers and Zeitler. Without any thought to what they added to the back of the roster. Without any thought to WHY these guys were available - not team guys.

The Browns right now are are like every other bad team in football. A few bright spots, a lot of depth problems and a fair amount of cap room and draft capital.

Dorsey had a great opportunity two years ago and he has thoroughly shit the bed.
