TB has 3 games in hand and trails BOS by 11.

Let's not be too glib about this. All it means is that the Bolts may be better than they first appear in comparison. But even if the win all 3 games, they still trail the div. leader by a bunch. I think they're a playoff team, but one that will be battling for home ice and not the Atlantic.

All teams have ups and downs over 82. Boston is taking their lumps right now. To me, the leadership on that team is their most distinguishing characteristic - and their talent isn't too shabby either. Boston is going to win the div., in my mind the question is who's going to battle them for the President's Cup? And then, they're a rare PC contender that is also built for SC contention.

Didn’t mean to misrepresent the standings, just assuming everyone here already knows the Bruins are the team on top of the 11 point difference. That number has been shrinking for a bit now though.
TB has the best roster in the league and I don’t think it’s close. It’s the reason TB bitch slapped the Bs around in the playoffs in ‘18.
As you’ve said, Bruins have great leadership, I think thats most beneficial in the post season and will be again this year but I’d be surprised if the Bs are the 1 seed. They are obviously very good but also flawed and last year’s long run will probably come back to hurt them. I think we’re seeing that right now actually. 5 Ls in a row and they weren’t playing well before that even though they were getting points.

I’m heading to the Can. Probably my last game in Denver.

Movers are coming on Wed. to load up the container. Then ... off to Portugal.

Capitals remain the hottest team in the NHL, but don't look now, here come the St. Louis Blues.
