Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers Game Thread

Nagy well on his way to single-handedly losing another game against the Packers.

 

They're probably the smart ones baby. Im not sure this team deserves their time.

 

Yeah you're probably right Ev. I just sucks that this is the way things have come down this season.

 

Yep. But take this game for example, Nagy is employing exactly the opposite approach to the run game that he should be. The only thing they've had success with is running out of the I, which means to give the RB as lead blocker so that the first tackler who's been meeting him in the hole every time, that guy gets blocked giving Monty a chance. Nagy didn't call 1 run in that 1st half with a lead blocker for Monty. Not one.

Its like Nagy is learning disabled. In fact he's both not very bright and ridiculously stubborn. I have no time for people like that.

Nagy will fail. You can't succeed with his approach.

I never turn off Bears games but im giving this till the end of the quarter to turn around.

 

First Offensive play of the 2nd half, lead blocker on the run. Why did that take an entire half of football.

 

Great move in the backfield by Monty. Turned a 3yard loss into a 5yard gain.

 

4th down fail. 3rd down Trubisky just walks OB for a 3yard loss when he could've thrown away which would've meant 4th & 3 instead of 4th & 6. There's just too many not smart people on this team.

 

It seems to be going up and down like a teeter totter. One thing I'm happy about is it looks like Trubs is showing a lot more confidence.

 

Clinton Dix is having a terrible game.

Hockey and volleyball today - 80 miles apart. Just tuning in. Looks like the usual shit show huh?

 

Nagy is actually outdoing himself from week 1. Which is really something.

 

I like how Mitch is consistently throwing well in this game.

 

Jesus - can he throw a spiral?

 

On the bright side it looked like Miller had done his shoulder again but he's back out there now which is good.

 

Not Jesus, but Mitch. I assume Jesus can spin it.
