I don't care for all the BS filler and names here but I'll say this:

No one is going to be nervous (more than any other game) to play the Eagles in Philly. MAYBE if they were healthy but that ship has sailed. Only other team some might prefer to travel to in the WC round is the AFC South winner and that's a hard maybe.

And it wouldn’t change my opinion that, overall, this is one of the worst divisions we’ve seen in recent memory.

to be honest Gid, it's the holiday season and im on here enough M-F that i like my nights and weekends to me and off-line. that's why i post a lot on mondays bc im playing catch up with weekend posts.

well Axe:

• you lumped in with the others on the bashing NFC East party. I know they're bad, but the season isn't over yet and a team can still go 9-7 to win the Div. Plus you're an NFC East fan. Stick up for your team and division. Dallas certainly has the firepower in the big 3 to win a game or two in the playoffs if they got in. You're posts sound like you're basically giving up the season already. I'm not giving up hope yet. And yes the East is bad this year, but it's not like they're perennially bad every year. It's not as bad as the 2010 NFC West. Fight man.
• i think everyone assumes IF the Eagles got in and won the East, they would be an easy win as everyone else is much better than they are. maybe, but if weather like the Giants game shows up, plus cold Jan temps, a top team is brought down to the lower level of the Eagles for 60 min. their top players will have to power through that crap to win. i think that favors the Eagles. You, BWW, lyman and Gid laughed at me and dismissed it as the best team will win regardless and it's NOT the Eagles. to me sometimes the luckier team wins. were the eagles better than the bears last year and the double doink miss by cody parkey? not really. they were luckier. were the rams better when they mugged a wr and no penalty was called? no. weather can play a huge part in the game and it may be what the eagles need to win. yes, im asking for a lot, but the eagles need every break they can get, so yes, im praying on Mother Nature a little.
• You made a comment of how lame that is of praying on weather to win over talent or some such thing. at this point, i'll take anything. it's all i can pray for. i think the south winds at the linc in winter are tough on kickers and qbs. why? my brother has seats on the goal line 5 rows from the field and i've seen passes float the other way and kicks go wide right or left due to the winds much like Giants stadium in the winter. Drew Brees or Jimmy G or Russell Wilson won't like that.
• You never seem to be on my side with any post and especially football. There's always a jab. Always a snicker or snide comment. You're almost at the level of my meaner older brother. You've made prior comments you won't talk on a subject to me any longer due to the differences in our thinking and our posts. That was a real slap in the face to me that you wouldn't want to talk it out? Even BWW and i hash it out and although it's filled with a lot of insults, we hash it out. You threw up your hands in disgust at me and rolled. That sucks.

Lastly, you're from NE Philly, your HS and my HS were bitter arch rivals and you're a damn Cowboys fan! That alone is enough to warrant being cheesed at you EVERY YEAR.
