I'll take a wild stab at it and say either LSU or Georgia. :point:

But . . . If Georgia wins, I'm not sure LSU falls below #4.

Ohio State, Clemson, LSU and Oklahoma will be the Final 4. Wisconsin is doing me proud and giving the Buckeyes hell tonight, but even if my guys were to pull off the big upset, Ohio State will still be in

    It's now official . . .
    1. LSU
    2. Ohio State
    3. Clemson
    4. Oklahoma
IMHO, both LSU and Ohio State were deserving of the top seed.

What I found amusing over the past month or so is the media rhetoric that nobody wants to face Clemson in semi-final game. If Clemson is truely that good that no one wants to play them - then why aren't they the number 1 seed?

I read some of that stuff too. Talking about the big win/blowout. They played Virginia, for crying out loud, while the other top seeds played better opponents, in my opinion.

Ohio State and Clemson IMO are the best 2 teams. Sucks it isnt the final.

you know the answer...SOS. Their schedule isn't very good this year. They are the defending Champs, but their schedule is marginal at best.

i have LSU beating OU. OSU routing Clemson.

    In a ratings juggernaut-LSU beats OSU 42-41 !

Burrows also wins the Heisman next Saturday. After what he did to UGA- it's over. He wins in a walk. Very impressed.

OSU to come back down 21-0 was great as well. Some bounces went their way but they owned Wisc the entire second half ! Impressive as well.

How the hell does Memphis and UVA get a top 6 Bowl game? I know you guys hate ND, but ISU? A 10-2 team vs a 7-5? That's insulting. Why not a rematch vs Michigan ? Or in the Orange Bowl vs UF? I totally understand the conference agreements and tie-ins, but this is embarrassing for ND to play a 7-5 team. ND is ranked 15th and their 2 losses both came on the road. So now a 3 loss Michigan team and Auburn get better bowls? PSU - ND? Memphis who is ranked behind ND gets a top bowl game? That is crazy.

Since ND is not getting any favors from the bowl coalition, maybe it's time to get the hell out of the ACC and into a conference with a title game and bowl tie-ins like we discussed 2 weeks ago> This match-up stinks for them and with my luck they lose the damn game!

Talking about strength of schedule . . .

All three of Ohio State's 2019 non-conference opponents [Florida Atlantic, Cincinnati and Miami (OH)] played in their respective conference championship games.

    1. Notre Dame was underranked but they still wouldn't have gotten in if they stayed behind Penn State and Florida.
    2. Memphis is even more grossly underranked. They should probably be a top 10 team. Memphis and Notre Dame both have 3 wins with top 25 teams (all at 21-24) and each have a fringe top 25 win (SMU & VT). Memphis lost to 1 team. Notre Dame lost to 2. Notre Dame's losses were better but Memphis lost to a good team in what has proven to be a good conference this year. Both teams were significantly underrated but Memphis is getting the shaft in rankings as much if not more than ND.
    3. Memphis earned that spot by being the highest ranked Group of 5 champion.
    4. Virginia automatically got that spot by being the highest ranked ACC team not in the playoffs. It's contractually obligated.

Michigan and Auburn are also in contract bowls. As an independent Notre Dame should be happy they even get bowl contracts, unfortunately they didn't get ranked high enough for them and even if they go ranked to 11 or 12 where they probably belong, they still wouldn't be high enough.

sorry you feel that way but the bowl coalition invited them to the party years ago. having them in brings in huge attendance numbers and TV dollars, so yes, they belong in the bowl coalition, regardless of their indy status. However settling for some lower tier bowl game versus a really lower tiered team is really bad. Hell, the Cotton Bowl tie is at large vs at large. They could've taken ND, they didn't. A few other bowl games could have as well. As I said, ND is not even qualified for 3/4 of the bowl games due to tie-ins when their ranking isn't top 10. This should be a wake-up call to get the hell out of the ACC because it doesn't help them at all.

So Virginia didn't have 2 more wins than ND and lost to them.

I don't see where it states the highest ranked ACC team goes to the Orange Bowl. The ACC Champion would go if not in the playoffs. The Champion is Clemson. It doesn't say the #2 highest ranked team automatically qualifies for the Orange Bowl ?

Again, this doesn't show anything about being #2 in the ACC - Virginia ?
