lol... Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has never been known for his filter, but he was particularly unfiltered in a radio interview this morning. As Jones talked about all the ways he’s disappointed in his 6-7 team, he was heard muttering, “bulls–t,” before the confused hosts on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas lost contact with him. At that point, the station’s program director got on the air to explain that the station’s system that prevents callers from using curse words live on the radio had cut Jones off. Jones apparently swore twice during the interview, and the second time they tried to bleep him, it dumped the call. Jones is certainly not hiding his disappointment, either with head coach Jason Garrett or his players, whom Jones says are not playing well enough. Jones said everyone in the building is upset with how the season is going. “We all feel like hell,” Jones said. The good news for Jones is that his team still has a good chance of winning the NFC East. A 6-7 team with a good chance of winning its division might sound like bulls–t, but it’s not. source; PFT
Eagles = 5-7 Bears = 7-6 And the Eagles play in the NFC East, not the NFC North. {edit} . . . and lost to the Dolphins.
Who are the Eagles?! They beat the Bills and lost to the football team from Miami. In the end, a team is what their record says they are. dirk's comment stands.
Lyman, you posted this as I composed my message below. I don't look at my message as redundant; rather I think we affirmed each other. Older minds! Yes.
Dan, you said the Eagles weren't good 2 months ago and they went into Buffalo and beat your Bills, so what does that say ? Are the Bills really this good ? They lost at HOME to the team that lost to Miami ? I even asked you to bet the game and you didn't respond. You didn't chime in after the game either, so don't start piling on the Eagles now after they lost to Miami. You're beloved Bills were 5-1 and lost at home to them!
E Eagles still have to play the Giants twice, Dallas and Washington, so they only played 2 NFC East teams this year so far.
yeah and a great road win for the Philly. I guess the Eagles weren't suppose to challenge for the NFC East with Dallas this year and put up 10-12 wins? You guys make 1 bad loss to Miami like they are Miami or Cincy ! And Lyman, your Browns were going to challenge for the North Crown. Remember all the talk of playoffs and Super Bowl earlier this year ? What happened? Bad losses happen to almost every team and not just Philly.
and Atlanta. Go ahead Axe, pile on the losses. The season has been a disappointment, no doubt. They were supposed to contend for the East. They should be contending for the Tidy Bowl! Their big FA got hurt. All their WRs stink. Their DC allowed 510 yards in the Super Bowl and still kept his job. His schemes couldn't beat a HS teams right now. Their GM has sat on over $17 mil in cap space waiting for a day to spend it that will never come and everyone and their Mother wanted their QB traded to keep Nick Foles and now really hate him for going 5-7. Anything else? Oh their wins vs Buffalo and Chicago don't count because "they're not a good team!" Love how that works on here!
