Closing games out is a huge problem for this team. A 7 point win doesn't feel as nice. But again, we are completely incapable of blowing out teams.

I'll say this: the last two games we've won because of Mitch. And it feels damn good knowing that we're winning because of our QB rather than in spite of our QB.

Defense still needs to get better.

 

I like Nagy’s pressers, but he gives out way too much information. I know that it’s all on video, but he basically summarizes how they won.

A little subterfuge would be nice.

 

This game was great. 75% Cowgirls fans at the bar here in Seattle and after that first drive I thought it was going to be a long night.

with all the mistakes and phantom calls, the Bears still won handily. Would I have like to see more from the defense? Sure but the offense was absolutely 100% in the drivers seat against a defense that’s....not the Lions. In the bathroom I heard Bradshaw say something like after that first drive the Bears Offense started clicking and the D tightened up and the Bears were just having fun. That’s it in a nutshell. A fame I wasn’t super pissed off throughout. What a feeling.

Clean things up and this is a blowout. Best Trubs I can remember seeing since last year, the int was horrendous but he was delivering darts and threading the needle consistently. And running! He plays like that the rest of the year the Bears go undefeated and win the super bowl.

and before you ask I had a little bit of liquor, but I can walk more. I feel like tomorrow reality will set in but for tonight? Ducking BEAR DOWN ABABY!

Bww posted earlier Mitch will start next season especially if he keeps this up. Probably a later round draft pick will be added. I have trouble seeing a 2nd rounder being used on a qb.

I'm starting to believe just a little bit more now , I'm not all in but our boy Mitchell is showing what he may be capable of. Let's enjoy this one till next Sunday ....other than Troy Aikman being a whinny little bitch I have nothing negative to say about last nights game.

 

I HATE that Aikman guy. He's such a douche!! Even when the Bears were pounding Dallas that's all he could talk about .. the Cowboys. It makes me so mad.

 

At the game on the big screens, they replayed (at least) 4 blatant face masks that were not called. Including one that resulted in a turn-over.

There was another one early in the game where instead of calling the face mask on the Cowboys, they called a phantom "Illegal block in the back" on us.

What were they saying on TV? Was aikmen actually calling them out or was he being a big pussy?

 

If I recall . . .

Aikman called the illegal block in the back, "although technically correct, a ticky tack call." On the facemask call, he said "yeh, the head and helmet moved but I've seen a lot worse".

 

Sounds about right.

 

I couldn’t hear the game for the most part, but I figure this is just making up for the “tripping” a while back.

I remember right before the phantom block in the back there was contact on the route but I said out loud “eh it’s fine since they’re letting them play”, and then you get that nonsense.

Having a day to rest on it, I’m still loving the win. I wish we had seen this the rest of the season so the odds aren’t so incredibly long on the way out.
