To everyone who hollered about this, thanks for the catch amigos!

You know you were lit up good when you can't remember a team as bad as the 2017 Browns!

  2. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

    They were indeed awful.

Yes. But i did at least prove that they're not completely shitfaced-proof. I don't want to turn any of you guys into alcoholics or anything, but you do have options.

  5. AxeMurderer Legend Cowboys

There have also been ten 1-15 teams. Might be worth a chuckle to discuss their....um, LACK of merits.

Also it took the Lions 3 years to have a 7+ win season after that, so you're well ahead of schedule.

  7. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

My Browns are on that list, as well.

Yes, they are. As are my 1989 Cowboys.

didn't the Colts go 1-15 with Peyton Manning his first year ? or 2-14 ?

I do recall the Cowboys and Aikman doing it until they hornswaggled the Vikings with the Herschel Walker deal and stocked their team to 3 Super Bowls !

  10. AxeMurderer Legend Cowboys

    3-13 for Manning.

Vikes were completely taken for a ride in that...well, I can't even call it a "deal."

Cmon really?! They were one man closer to a full bobsledding team. That's a big deal in Minn.

FWIW, I picked the Jets. They need something, might as well start there.

So the Eagles waived Mack Hollins yesterday. The WR situation is a mess. Some media guy seems to think the Eagles won't trust Jeffery and Jackson and will cut bait in the offseason. I think that's just some same usual pessimistic Eagles BS. With no other WRs outside unproven rookie JJ Arcega-Whiteside I don't think the Eagles will eat cap dollars to move on from their 2 best receivers who were hit with the injury bug this year. They better bring in someone new though. It's gotta be taken care of in the offseason and not midseason like last year or with rookies.

I think his best fit is Chicago. That's not, IMO, the most likely spot for him; just the best fit.

I talked about coaches in the podcast today(yet to be posted). I didn't bring up Nagy but he's probably safe for this year.

I agree, Joe. Somebody has to catch the ball. It would be nice if they could land a great WR in the draft and bring in a good one also, but to cut all of them makes no sense.

    Not a bad idea.

That situation is not good for a football team in the middle of a divisional race (although Philly is digging it). JJ keeps harping on the Super Bowl, while Garrett doesn't know from one day to the next if he's even got a job next season. I know its a business and JJ knows more about that than me, it just seams to be getting handled in a hapless manner... I don't see how all the rumors around Garrett and his future bodes well for a good attitude now and positive vibes do have a trickle down effect that would be good for the 'Boys'.
