Great win for you guys. I will admit that I wanted the Browns to win but the better team won today Still in it fellas, gonna be a great last month with some big games left
If they make it to the playoffs, could be dangerous with that defense...the offense needs to improve a lot to make any noise....
Disappointing loss for my Browns today. But the Steelers deserved the win. Outplayed us all day long in the trenches.
Gotta get JuJu and Conner back. Conner is a very good receiver and that helps The 3 and 4 seeds aren't much better than the Steelers but boy, those Ravens and Pats.........
I didn't watch this game, but I saw the roughing the passer on Dupree. That was a completely garbage call.
Hmmmm, not sure beloved one. I like Harbaugh as a coach and think over the years has been better than Tomlin but not this season. Harbaugh pretty much has his full roster, Tomlin doesn’t.
A roster that was built for a traditional scheme. Then did a 180° pivot this year and is winning . . . big.
I would say they're both capable of winning it for different reasons. ajm has a great point about Tomlin and the Steelers. A 3rd string rookie QB, a 3rd string RB, and a rookie WR all starting on O. Not to mention a rookie at ILB. Still, 10-2 and the current number one seed is hard to argue. We'll see what happens but the guy that doesn't win will have lots of supporters.
His starting roster has been for the most part stable since their training camp. Tomlin has been going week to week since week 2 with different starters at significant positions
Looks like our division is going for the trifecta. Preseason Champs Browns Regular Season Champs Ravens Post Season Champs Steelers
But would he be 10-2 if he lost Lamar for the season in week 2, Ingram for the better part of the season among other shenanigans Tomlin has gone thru? Would he even be 7-5?
Would any of those 10-2 teams be there with the injuries the Steelers had? Yes the Saints would. Peyton should be the coach of the year.
I can't answer that for sure but I will say this......if Lamar Jackson went down one game into the season, there would be a huge drop off
Lost Tavon Young in preseason, Lost Jimmy Smith in Week 2, lost Tony Jefferson Week 4 (blessing in disguise), Lost Deshon Elliot (Jefferson replacement Week 5), Traded Kenny Young (ineffective as weak side LB, causing the defensive lapses at KC and with the Browns) for Marcus Peters to help shore up a secondary that had been decimated by injuries. Moved Peanut back to Weak-side LB after the signing of Josh Bynes and LJ Fort. Still looking for a consistent pass rusher opposite Matt Judon.... Offensively, they have been pretty stable but on defense, its been chaotic but more steady since Week 6-7. Where people underestimated Lamar Jackson and the offense is why the Ravens look most impressive. No one thought the Ravens would be scoring points and piling up yards like they have lately. Does John Harbaugh deserve some votes for this? Absolutely, But, Personally though, I think Tomlin has done one hell of a job even having his team over .500 considering the amount of offensive injuries that the Steelers have suffered. Who would have thought they would be in playoff position after Week 5? Not many. I would give it to him right now honestly.
