The habs D seems pretty weak, once Tatar and Weber come back down to earth, they should be fighting for the #8th spot.

 

There was a lot of noise about Montreal’s interest in the Sabres D. The two teams have a pretty active trade history considering they’re div. foes. I just do not see a match that would make Buffalo better.

I hated it when D was an organizational weakness for the Sabres. It’s well known that Buffalo currently has 12 legit. NHL d-men signed in the org., (BUF & ROC). What’s less well known is that there are 3 more D prospects in the pipeline (NCAA & Europe) that are top-4 prospects.

This is sufficient proof for the adage: “it’s better to be a Sabres fan than a Habs fan”. Suck it Montreal!

 

I’ll bet Habs finish closer to the bottom of the East than to whoever gets that 8th seed. That roster stinks

 

I would take Gallagher anyday with that $3.75M contract going into next season. He would look good on a line with Moore and Kerfoot. He's on pace for his third 30th goal season in a row.

He'll get $7-$8M in '21.

 

If Brendan Gallagher is on your top line you’re in big trouble. I understand that you’re saying you’d love him on your 3rd line that’s not the role he currently has in Montreal. It’s because their roster stinks.

 

Third line all the way, a great value for the cap hit. One of Don Cherrys favourite players.
