A Look at NFC Playoff Picture Entering Week 12 Here’s a look at the NFC standings, along with the remaining schedules, win percentages of upcoming opponents and a status update. 1. San Francisco (9-1) 11/24 GB (8-2) 12/1 @ BAL (8-2) 12/8 @ NO (8-2) 12/15 ATL (3-7) 12/21 LAR (6-4) 12/29 @ SEA (8-2) Remaining foes’ combined records: 41-19 Opponents’ win percentage: .683 Status: The 49ers have three consecutive games against division leaders to open the toughest remaining schedule of any NFC team. Vikings fans are sure to be pulling for San Francisco this weekend in a game on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. 2. Green Bay Packers (8-2) 11/24 @ SF (9-1) 12/1 @ NYG (2-8) 12/8 WAS (1-9) 12/15 CHI (4-6) 12/23 @ MIN (8-3) 12/29 @ DET (3-6-1) Remaining foes’ combined records: 27-33-1 Opponents’ win percentage: .451 Status: The Packers are tied with the Vikings, Eagles, Lions and Buccaneers for the fewest games against teams with four victories. 3. New Orleans Saints (8-2) 11/24 CAR (5-5) 12/1 @ ATL (3-7) 12/8 SF (9-1) 12/16 IND (6-4) 12/22 @ TEN (5-5) 12/29 @ CAR (5-5) Remaining foes’ combined records: 33-27 Opponents’ win percentage: .550 Status: The Saints are tied with the Seahawks for the most remaining games (five) against teams with more than four wins and have three division games remaining. A win Sunday would place them four games ahead of their next-closest competitor for the NFC South. 4. Dallas Cowboys (6-4) 11/24 @ NE (9-1) 11/28 BUF (7-3) 12/5 @ CHI (4-6) 12/15 LAR (5-5) 12/22 @ PHI (5-5) 12/29 WAS (1-9) Remaining foes’ combined records: 31-29 Opponents’ win percentage: .517 Status: The next couple of games for the Cowboys could shake up the AFC East, NFC East or both. 5. Seattle Seahawks (8-2) 11/24 @ PHI (5-5) 12/2 MIN (8-3) 12/8 @ LAR (5-5) 12/15 @ CAR (5-5) 12/22 AZ (3-7-1) 12/29 SF (9-1) Remaining foes’ combined records: 35-26-1 Opponents’ win percentage: .573 Status: The Seahawks could overtake the 49ers for first in the NFC West with a win and loss by San Francisco. Seattle has eked out close games, recording victories by 1 point twice as well as wins by 2, 3, 4 and 6. Back-to-back overtime wins have positioned the Seahawks well to make a run at the NFC West title. 6. Minnesota Vikings (8-3) 11/24 Bye Week 12/2 @ SEA (8-2) 12/8 DET (3-6-1) 12/15 @ LAC (4-7) 12/22 GB (8-2) 12/29 CHI (4-6) Remaining foes’ combined records: 27-23-1 Opponents’ win percentage: .539 Status: A little R&R is just what our doctors ordered after three consecutive games decided on the final play. 7. Los Angeles Rams (6-4) 11/25 BAL (8-2) 12/1 @ AZ (3-7-1) 12/8 SEA (8-2) 12/15 @ DAL (6-4) 12/21 @SF (9-1) 12/29 AZ (3-7-1) Remaining foes’ combined records: 37-23-2 Opponents’ win percentage: .612 Status: The NFC West is the most-crowded field this season. The Rams record would be good enough to lead the NFC East and AFC South, but it’s only third in their own division and on the outside looking in at the playoff field. 8. Philadelphia Eagles (5-5) 11/24 SEA (8-2) 12/1 @ MIA (2-8) 12/9 NYG (2-8) 12/15 @ WAS (1-9) 12/22 DAL (6-4) 12/29 @ NYG (2-8) Remaining foes’ combined records: 21-39 Opponents’ win percentage: .350 Status: The old cliché, the next game is the biggest, is true for the Eagles — at least until Dec. 22 against Dallas. 9. Carolina Panthers (5-5) 11/24 @ NO (8-2) 12/1 WAS (1-9) 12/8 @ ATL (3-7) 12/15 SEA (8-2) 12/22 @ IND (6-4) 12/29 NO (8-2) Remaining foes’ combined records: 34-26 Opponents’ win percentage: .567 Status: Sunday is as close to a must-win game as there is for the Panthers to have a shot at the NFC South.
Both teams at 6-4 make this an interesting game for me. Its huge for both teams... I like the Texans at home.
As soon as it came out, I rolled my eyes. Remember mendenhall saying ben was racist and then hours later saying he only said that as a social experiment? I had the same reaction to garrett's claim of it sounding like bullshit. It's ridiculous that we live in a world where we have to play a victim card because we know there are people dumb enough out there to latch on to that and throw support behind them. Even if you play Rudolph's audio and hear no evidence of any racial slur, garrett will just come back saying "my truth is I heard him say it". There's no accountability anywhere across the board for accusing people of things anymore. Remember when people used to say that N. Suh was a clean player and a dirty stomp was completely out of character for him? The similarity between he and garrett is not lost. How many more times is garrett going to show he's a dirty player before it gets through to people? This year already he was fined for punching Walker, 2 roughing the passer penalties on the Jets, and trying to kill someone with a helmet. Football is a better sport without him. This is his draft quote: “If you don’t draft me No. 1, I will punish your team for the next 10 to 12 years. I'll knock your QB out of the game every time we play you.” This is another one of his: "Against LSU my last year, I choked out their tight end two times in a row," Garrett said. "[Laughs] He had it coming. He just kept holding me, so I picked him up, put him on his back and then I grabbed his face mask and kept jamming his helmet into the ground. I said, "I'm setting you straight right now. Don't do illegal holds." He's no different from your Suh or Burfict or whoever the piece of shit flavor of the day is.
loved the Nerf football and soccer ball! cheap item that lasted a long ass time! buy 1 and the whole neighborhood could play a sport !
Currently his indefinite suspension only guarantees this season. So yes....he could get more if the NFL adds games to the guaranteed part for next season without agreeing to meet with him again until he serves more games.
Well we already knew he was a giant piece of shit, anyone shocked that he's now playing the racism card to try and get himself out of trouble.

The Cowboys will play without linebacker Leighton Vander Esch this week and they’re not sure when he’ll be back in action, but head coach Jason Garrett made it clear on Friday that they do expect him to return to action. Vander Esch missed a game with neck issues earlier this season and there was word that some teams had concerns about his neck heading into the 2018 draft, but they didn’t stop the Cowboys from taking him in the first round and Garrett said this week’s problems aren’t thought to put Vander Esch at risk of an early retirement. “We don’t think it’s career threatening,” Garrett said, via Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “We think at some point he will be back. We think it needs to calm down. Want to give it time to do that. Hopefully, we can get him back real soon.” The sooner the Cowboys have a healthy Vander Esch in the lineup the better, but the nature of his injury and the fact that he’s dealt with it multiple times this season suggest that it may not be a one-week absence.
Can't believe how the Colts got robbed a final drive yesterday. These refs and the officials "upstairs" are garbage. Multiple miss reviews this season on plays that can only be reviewed by the officials. A couple of Weeks ago Amari Cooper had his 1 toe tap TD not reviewed and now we have this one that decided a game and possible the playoff destiny of these teams. The Colts had the division on lock with a win.
After a tough defeat abroad, the Chargers have suffered another loss. Starting cornerback Mike Davis has been suspended two games by the NFL for violating the league's policy on substances of abuse, the NFL announced Friday. Davis ascended to a full-time starting role in 2019, recording 27 tackles, five passes defended and his first career interception through nine games. The Los Angeles native was happy to embrace his Mexican heritage last week when his team traveled to Mexico City to face the Kansas City Chiefs, a game they ultimately lost 24-17. Davis recorded a tackle and pass defense in the defeat. Now the Chargers will have to proceed without Davis for the next two weeks. Brandon Facyson is listed behind Davis on the Chargers' depth chart, though it's likely Desmond King could also see some time in Davis' place after the bye when the Chargers face the Denver Broncos. source; NFL.com
Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph did not get off easy in the altercation that saw him hit over the head with his own helmet by Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. Rudolph, who grabbed the back of Garrett’s helmet while the two of them were on the ground at the end of the play, has been fined $50,000, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports. Garrett claimed Rudolph called him a racial slur, while the NFL said it found no evidence of that. So the league’s discipline is based on what could be seen on the video, and not on anything Rudolph may have said. Some observers thought Rudolph should have been suspended along with Garrett, who has been banned for at least the rest of this season. Instead, Rudolph will get one of the biggest fines of any player in the league this season. Rudolph may appeal the fine, and he’d have a good case for getting the amount reduced. Players who do not have any prior offenses usually get fines reduced as excessive if the amount of the fine exceeds 25 percent of the player’s weekly salary. Rudolph’s weekly salary is $38,722, so this fine is more than 100 percent of his weekly salary. PFT
