Oooph! That third line for the Sabres doesn't instill confidence. The fourth line could be really good. Really good, that is, once they grow up.

Didn’t see the first but sounds like Buffalo held the play.
Eichel is flying around out there, bet he gets one tonight.

Trots has them going... look out. They are fun to watch too, they play a good and fast game.

They suck right now, in relative terms. They are probably that team that wins the Presidents with a bazillion points and gets bounced in the 1st round, just like last season, to the team that struggles and then kicks everybody's ass come playoff time this year.

No P trophy this season, maybe playoff success

Would really love it if Florida:
    A. won games in regulation
    B. didn't give up 4+ goals
    C. didn't have to come back from 4-0 twice in one week

Would really love some peaceful evenings...

Tampa hasn’t started well but they’re not far back and they have games in hand on everyone. 4-2 over their last 6.

Tampa will definitely be there in the end..

Just reading quotes from players that used to play for babs, pure hate for the guy. This Mike Commodore guy wants to punch him out, literally.
Carlo Colaiacovo says he was double crossed after being assured he would get a tryout, and Holland backs this.

Yep, they both were with Detroit and ive heard several rumors regarding Babcock and players hating him. The biggest I heard was Pavel Datsyuk, he wouldn't play for the guy and according to rumor, that's why he bailed for mother Russia.

Commodore he always used to say was fat.

Carlo was on the radio this morning and said at the end of his final year there in Detroit he had a 3 hour meeting with Babs at his place. He was promised a tryout in September and nothing more.
A week later he got a phone call from Holland and.said he was being released outright and the decision came directly from Babs, he had nothing to do with it and was also against it.

Here's a doozie, Mike Modano needed one more game to reach the milestone of 1500 games played and babs healthy scratched him in the last game.He retired the next year with 1499 games played.
Prick, he did almost the same with spezza after convincing him to sign here.

The odds seem pretty freaking astronomical, don't they? Setting the franchise comeback record and then matching it within a week of each other. It seems crazy, to me. How often does something like that happen in the NHL?

Problem is, now I can't turn off a single game early the rest of the season...

Edit: this isn't to rub anything in regarding the Bruins game last week, Matty. Bruins had earned the win before the comeback. They're a better team, and Dan is right - arguably league favorites.

    The odds are ridiculous.
A team has only done it twice in the same season a few times in NHL history and I wanna say one of the 80s Oilers teams was one of them.

I know man, no worries on the Bruins.
The Connolly signing looks pretty good so far for Fla, pretty sure I wasn’t a fan at the time.
