again, i can only take Reeves in small doses and the Replacements was too much. Same for Hackman as a coach. After Hoosiers, I can't see him as any other coach.

?? i don't have a problem with any movie Axe? I didn't say i have a problem with it? I saw the Replacements once and that's a big "if?" I saw the DD but don't recall any trivia from it. Just looking to move on since only you and Lyman know anything about either movie.

 

haha. like the movie. just don't know a lot of trivia from it. i always get it confused with Kelly's Heroes.

In The Dirty Dozen (HA!), when Pinkley is impersonating a general and inspecting Col. Breed's troops, he asks a soldier where he's from. What was the soldier's reply?

 

Don't remember the soldier's answer but Pinkley replied (after a pause), "never heard of it".

 

That reply was priceless. The soldier was positively crestfallen.

It was Madison City, Missouri.
