Your right... Im a huge fan of Yzerman and these things will take time.

I like how well Bernier has been playing, Wings on a decent streak for once.

Good luck in the Bruins and Leafs tilt tonight... that will be on my PC at 7.

The Leafs look like they'll be fighting for a playoff spot.

  3. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

I predict the Leafs and TB will both go on runs and finish ahead of the Bruins.

    Come on, lol.

Bs only a few points up and the rosters of the other two teams are better. the real advantage for the Bruins is in post season play.

This season has been disappointing so far since day 1. You had the Marner negotiations which went too long and he was overpaid for a shitty 5 year term. Then you had Matthews with his immature legal troubles which he didn't disclose to the team until it all came out.
You have the non-existent back-up goaltending which babs insists on sticking with no matter if the second game is the much tougher game, wether freddie only faced 17 shots the night before.
You have injuries that they had to start without Dermott and Hyman, then Tavares for two weeks and now Marner for four.
You have the lousy PP, the lousy PK, the misuse of Barrie (not putting him out on the PP). You have the idiotic move of not bringing back Hainsey, the idiotic move of sending down Sandin.
You have the lack of pushback anytime one of their stars gets run, this team doesn't look good.

I hope they choose Kak over Darling as I see the same results as Hutch if they go with the latter.

definitely gotta get the goalie situation worked out. keeping Freddy around 55 games this season seems like the right play to me.

Giving 27 games away to ?????? Is a recipe for disaster, could cost them the playoffs. So far 0-5 with Hutch, Darling has been abysmal the last couple of years with .885 percentages.

Kak is 26 and hasn't played an nhl game ,he would be a hit or miss like another Sparks.
Seems a trade is in order but a goalie that can only earn $700K.

I don’t know who you’ve got but playing 60+ games in net will wear Freddy down for the post season. Trade seems like the best option.
I thought Hutchinson would be the answer. I thought wrong.

Kakaisuo is all we got now, sure more than 60 is too much but a terrible backup and you might not even make the playoffs, too many points to give up.
Hopefully Kak is the next Binnington, crossing my fingers.:notes:

Never a bad idea to give a tall Finn a shot at it
