Wow Steelers what a dud of a game that was made worse by the brawl and helmet attack by Garrett. Ugly all around. A lot of us had the Steelers too. Bad, bad, bad.

 

Rudolph should get a game for instigation and his attack on Garrett

Garrett should get 2 games for his attack on Rudolph. (Actually already received the rule book penalty so could appeal for less)

Pouncey should get 2 games for kicking Garrett in a defenseless position near the head and neck area on top of throwing punches

Everyone else should be fined accordingly.

 

I don't think that their going to get off that easy. Goodell should throw the book at them all. This just can't be allowed to happen.

 

2 games? he should be banned until next season with a reinstatement hearing. he could've really hurt him if the helmet swing busted him open.

 

If I did that to you on the street. I'd be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. No way it's only 2 games.

I agree SCS..............Garret will be suspended for the rest of the regular season and Playoff's if the Browns make the post season.

That will really hurt Cleveland because Garret is their best player this year......

..... December 1st is their next meeting in Pittsburgh....it will be a quiet game with nothing stupid happening.

How can this guy even think about appealing this ?? Best thing he can do is pack up his stuff, go home and shut up. The more noise he makes from this point on, the bigger and bigger it gets. But somehow, I don't think we've heard the last of it.

I live in northern Ohio. I have seen no indications (from any source) that indicate Garrett is even considering an appeal. Pouncey, on the other hand . . .

 

SoCal, that's what I'm saying response to Matthew Wilson's post of only getting 2 games.

 

He would get off for self defense because he was being bull rushed by Rudolph and he could say he swung to protect himself with something he had immediate access to.
