now i read Kane pushed and slashed the ref. well i wouldn't say that exactly happened. he was slashing the opposing player and the ref was there. and the ref tackled him to the ice. that shove wasn't a big deal. knowing the WOS - not even a game. haha.

 

Taking any kind of shove/swing at an official is a big no no.

 

That's part of the known rules to the game. The Refs and linesman are off-limits... Kane should get a hefty fine and a vacation.

 

5 games, maybe 10 if the wheel is greased up.

Like ray ferraro pointed out, the ref got in there way too quick. The O-dog makes a good point that the ref was livid because he was accidently slashed.

 

ok but he also tackled kane to the ice. why can the ref do that and it's okay? kane should be tossed out. i understand that but the ref got the slash bc he was next to the player kane was slashing. kane didn't intentionally slash the ref.
