I’ll take it, bad penalty gave them the chance and Tomlin’s dumb challenge on top of it...lot of anxiety that game. That was a horrible miss though...

I said it last week that Vinatieri has to be the worst kicker in the league right now. Even if he somehow makes a field goal, the kick looks like it was booted by Grandpa Joe. The Colts deserved to lose for being so stupid to continue letting him stay on the roster.

 

Lamar and the Ravens were very smooth right there... 7-0 Baltimore up on the Pats...

While it is pretty damaging to the Steelers division chances, I will admit it was quite satisfying to watch the Ravens punch the Patriots in the mouth...they have been one of the few thorns in the Patriots side during the dominance of the Brady era.

Pittsburgh has gotten themselves to .500 at 4-4 and are in the thick of the WC chase. Win a few in a row and anything can happen.

 

Going to be tough, they put themselves in a deep hole. Did themselves a favor by beating the Colts so they own the head to head tiebreaker with a team they will be battling for one of those WC spots. The Buffalo game later in the year may be a bigger game than many thought coming into the year. Then again, every game is big when you start 1-4...

NFL Teams Went 11-0 On Their Home Fields Sunday.

 

This will sound petty but I hate headlines like this. It didn't cost them a win. It cost them a chance to take a one point lead. There was still 1:11 on the clock and the Steelers had a time out.

EDIT: No timeout. Burned it on the 3rd and 1 play to stop the clock.
