Looking Forward to the 2019 AFC North

Let me ask you this. What is you reasoning on why no other QB that's faced the Dolphins has thrown 85% completions or even more than 2 TDs on them? What is your reasoning on why no other offense they've faced has put up 500 yards on them, let alone 600+ after benching starters the whole 4th quarter? I actually just want to hear your opinion since your stance for week 1's Ravens performance is nothing more than "The Dolphins have been bad"?

And I'll say this ahead of time. Lamar Jackson is not the best passer they've faced. Mark Ingram is not the best RB they've faced. And I think the issue behind week 1 was the gameplan topic I mentioned above. But you seem to be resting on "The Dolphins this year have been bad" so I'm curious if that's your only explanation

If we are measuring their shitty play, then week one was elephant shit for the dolphins and the rest were poodle shit .

    Okay. any Given Sunday, eh?

    How about this . . .

Of your five wins so far this year:
    • Three have been against teams that rank 32nd in turnover differential MIA (-11), 11th - ARI (+2) and 30th - CIN (-9).
    • Three have been against teams that rank 32nd in Scoring Differential per game MIA (-24.7), 24th - ARI (-4.4) and 28th - CIN (-10.3)
    • You also have a loss against a team that ranks 28th in turnover differential (-6) and 25th in Scoring Differential per game (-5.7).
So please stop with the Game Plan, Scheme crap. Those rankings include all games through week 7. They weren't just bad the week they played the Ravens . . . they've been bad all year. The only glimmer in that list is that the Cardinals have improved in the past two weeks.

How is this a response to my post?? Is it a Browns fan thing that causes off topic responses to discredit the other fan's team when you can't respond to direcr questions?

If you want to say "nobody else has recorded a similar performance because any given sunday, and I don't believe gameplans, schemes, or matchups in the NFL matter. It's about bad teams and any given sunday" then that's cool.

I wasn't really expecting an SAS level response where you just go back to trying to discredit my team

  5. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

You tried tp point out that no other team had stats against the Dolphins like the Ravens did. I showed, factually, that EVERY team has had good stats against the Dolphins and the Bengals - every week.

For the record, I wasn't trying to discredit the Ravens. I merely pointed out something you fail to grasp.

Ok. I'll just say we have a difference of opinion on some things and we agree on others. I'll leave it there

Fun Fact: everyone looking forward to the AFC North is the teams that get to play them this year.

Cincinnati: 0-7, just benched their QB, destined for 1-15 finish
    Cleveland: 2-5, massively disappointing start
Pittsburgh: 3-4, garbage QB behind injured starter, almost just lost at home in prime time to a team actively tanking
    Baltimore: 5-2, over-hyped; starting 5-2 and finishing 8-8

Freddie has too many brain farts. I believe he's better than this, but I can't imagine how he unlocks himself now.

He drives me crazy, but I want so much for him to find himself, and become the leader I think he can be. He's not going to be good at a lot of things, as a first year HC, but he is good at team building, and he's not doing that either.

He's gotta plant his flag, and make better decisions, but first and foremost he's got to make a team out of these guys, and do it Freddie's way. I don't think he's a screamer, so I don't expect that, but whatever his magic is with people, he needs it now.

With a weaker schedule, and a nearly full & healthy roster, and Kareem Hunt coming, there is a lot to feel good about. If only we can put it on the field and stop beating ourselves, it's there for the taking.

I know Denver, given the QB situation, and the general dissarray of the team, we should win this one easily. I really hope that isn't the attitude of the team. I hope they recognize the opportunity that lies before them, and start to become professionals.

They can only lose by beating themselves. They have to put aside the "hero" talk and just do what is required. If they can put the pre season hype to rest, and focus on the game, they can run the table and become the team locked up by the hype.

I don't know about beating Denver "easily" and, frankly . . . I'm really not interested in style points at this point in time. A 1 point win counts the same as a 40 point blowout. Just stop the stupid penalties, absurd play calls and mental breakdowns !!!

Just my two cents.....In my lifetime, rarely does ANY opponent travel to Denver and win "easily". The Broncos have arguably the greatest home field advantage in sports, and no doubt the winning percentage to back that up.

That said. We beat them there last year in a primetime "nail-biter", so I think that experience bodes well.

Only thing I'm going to say is what I've been saying about Mayfield all season... he flat-out needs to play better.

How can any team that leads the league in penalties, almost leads the league in turnovers, and definitely leads the league in shooting itself in the foot, chaos, discombobulation, underachieving, turnovers on consecutive plays, and intentionally taking a penalty to avoid using a timeout, be preliminarily cast as superior to any opponent?

Agreed and Mason needs time to develop before he can be labeled.

How can anyone pick the Browns?

I don't know, but in Vegas, where money gets made, they have.

We're not as good as we thought we were and we're not as bad as they say we are.
