See now "Rage Voga" is something I could get on board with... ...Maybe. Now add if you add some hot women + Tequila = I'm fucking in!
A lot of my clients wear during our yoga classes and it cracks me up! It's a lot like the video. There's absolutely no need to add in any hot women because my classes are full of them. I'll have to work on the tequila angle... LOL
I just here to help, as always. When you do figure it out, fuck the road trip there, I'm gonna try and get BWW on board with the concept and we'll both fly up there, and buy a van and some beer for the trip back. It will be glorious. Spoiler You just painted an image of that in your head didn't you?
LOL you two crack me up!! @Tim you're bigger than in the last picture I saw of you. Your shoulders and neck look bigger. Plus ... so you're not supposed to let that bag swat you across the face after you punch it? I need to upgrade my skills ... The Rage Bendy & Tequila thing is going well thanks @tunafat. We had 2 new young ladies join us last night and after class they both told me that they laughed so hard and enjoyed my class so much they don't even think they need the tequila to smooth the sharp edges out. So yeah, grab your yoga mat and come on over to Lou Lou's Yoga Circus!
See now that's what I talking about! WhewWhew! LouLou! Well, it looks like it's the Lou Lou's Yoga Circus or bust! or both or would that be busteses??? hmmm not sure. Anyway... 1. yoga mat - check 2. Tequila - check 3. Thong or speedos??? Thong or Speedos??? decisions decisions hmmm
Yep. It forces you to learn head movement and keeping your hands up. It’s really good for hand accuracy and speed.
I can see that just from watching your clip. You've got a lot of agility Tim. Are you still lifting heavy weights? This type of bag would actually really improve my hand-eye coordination. My brother-in-law has a speed bag in his garage maybe I'll try it again.
I'm dying here ... ohh tuna you are hilarious! ! A speedo or a thong??? Can it get any better than that? LOL!
I just went back to lighter weights and added reps. I’ll probably stick with that until the beginning of December, then switch to doing nothing but technique and cardio until March.
Looking good, Tim! Keep it up, very impressive. I switched to lighter weights and more reps about 2 years ago.... best thing I ever did. I can do more and different things and still get stronger and maintain what I already have. In my opinion, more reps is better than more weight any day. My cardio sucks tho… i need to work on that big time. I wish I had better equipment also, but hell, the free weights/dumbbells and stuff do their job. I find that switching up routines and adding variety is the way to go. It seems to give faster longer lasting results and it doesn't get boring or tedious. Anyway, glad I saw this thread.... good stuff and keep it going, your looking real good.
I generally switch between light and heavy reps a couple times a year, but I’ll go for long stretches without consistent lifting while focusing on throwing punches, footwork and head movement. Hitting the bag is one of the best cardio workouts and if you have the space it’s a relatively cheap investment you should look at making.
Ive never owned my own heavy bag, but I used to go to a buddy's place and work out with his. The bag usually won.
