BUCKLE UP BROWNS FANS!!! This is the season we've been waiting for

    No doubt the Browns have dug a hole for themselves. To have a legit shot at this division, we need to be at 6-5 heading into our Thanksgiving weekend showdown in Pittsburgh. So it's time to get off the mat and string some W's together. I think it's very possible, as long as we stop shooting ourselves in the foot with untimely turnovers and absurd penalties. Here's what we got in front of us;
    11/3 @ Denver
    11/10 Buffalo
    11/14 (Thur) Pittsburgh
    11/24 Miami

So that's one winnable roadie, and then three straight winnable home games, including Miami after a long rest. Can Cleveland get it together and make a run?

As long as we don't self destruct, hell yes we can....Still plenty of football left.

I didn't say all that. I could care less about the Bucs. You said something to the extent that we were "far better" at skill positions. I just thought it should be pointed out that Evans and Godwin are crushing it this year. As far as Winston vs Mayfield. Idk, they both won the Heisman. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Both show flashes of brilliance, and they both look like a hot mess at times. Winston has him on experience, but hasn't developed as Tampa expected. Hopefully Baker can excel past him.

    Wow... seems a bit harsh.

I suppose a re-tread NFL coach who was fired from their last job for poor performance is preferred?

    Over Lincoln Riley? Absolutely.

I want a coach with NFL experience . If I was Dorsey I would hire a prick like Mangini( who I really miss ) who isn't going to be there friend and will put a foot in there asses .

Screw this sissy boy college spread shit .

OBJ Must go before Tuesday ! nothing but a distraction . When I read they traded for him last Spring my gut churned . a rookie HC who has never been a HC ANYWHERE with all those egos . what could possibly go wrong ? welp were seeing it .

Dorsey got canned form KC because he couldn't control; Reid . Kitchens is nothing more then Dorseys BITCH . one he can control .

Actually, Bluez . . . Dorsey got canned from KC for (allegedly) not being able to manage the salary cap.

Arians probably would have been a pretty good fit for Mayfield.

I'm getting tired of his drops. For having the greatest hands of all time, he has at least one big drop every game. If he catches that perfect back shoulder pass that Bake put on him in the second half, perhaps we continue on into the endzone instead of settling for the FG. It really is the difference between winning and losing football. Maybe I was expecting too much. I really don't care about the sensational one handed highlight reel play if the next one is going to bounce right off the hands. Baker mentioned yesterday that everyone isn't focused on doing their job, and it's killing them. That was certainly the "Capt. Obvious" moment of the presser, but I have no doubts it was a veiled shot, at least in part, at his superstar WR.

All data aside . . . the eye test yesterday prevails.

The Patriots pay attention to every detail and continue to just do their job - well.

The Browns ? Not so much.

    Congratulations on the win.
(Now . . . go kick the shit out of the Ravens!) :point:

They just don't get it. The argument that the Bucs have a good roster was made by highlighting their own stats, as a losing team - one that was just put down because they're bad. None of it makes sense - and it's because they're not trying to make good faith arguments. They're not here to have an actual discourse.

No sane person believes that the Bucs have better receivers than Cleveland. And no sane person believes that Barber is better than Chubb. These are the exact same people that were extolling the talent of this roster before the season started...

The one thing that gets overlooked in that pass - If Baker doesn't force Beckham to put the brakes on the percentage of that being completed goes up exponentially.

That was an extremely difficult pass to bring in because it forced Odell not only to turn all the way around but to also completely stop his momentum.

I have to disagree on that Tim. The coverage was all over Odell. If Baker puts it out front, I believe it's swatted away or picked by Gilmore. Mayfield put the ball right where he had to in order to get the completion and continue the drive. It hit Beckham flush. He should have had it and I'm sure he'd agree...The two consecutive drops in the Seattle game were just as frustrating. He needs to make those plays. This team is struggling, and I can't think of too many things that demoralize a team like a dropped pass in a crucial situation.

Just to clarify - I’m not saying the pass should have been in front of him and into the coverage.

I’m saying that because the pass came in short it added Beckham needing to stop and drop his level, shrinking his radius and forcing him to adjust his momentum while compacting.

If the pass comes at the same angle but higher/dropping in the ability for Odell to reel it in gets a lot easier.

We got our girls' back yesterday from there hammy issues . Speaking of what ifs . What if Ward picks Brady off the in the endzone ? Brady doesn't throw many gifts and Ward received one and of course he dropped it . I expect more out of a so called shut down CB Picked 4th overall .

Dorsey sent TWO Picks to the Bills for Teller and he cant beat out Kush who is getting pushed all over the place on about every play? .I hate the trade's Dorsey made with the Giants more everyday . my stomach churned last Spring when I first read about them .

To many fucking egos to deal with . with OBJ Its all about HIS Stats and he is like a kid with mental issues ..look at me look at me I need attention . Only thing I want to look at is your ass heading out the door !

I understand what you're saying, I think. It might've been a slight under-throw causing it to come in a little lower than perfect, but I also think it's a catch that we'd expect Beckham to make every time.

We've just been out of sync as an entire team. None more-so than our head coach, so I don't want it to seem like I'm blaming OBJ for everything. The good thing is, we still have time to get it right.

    For what it's worth...
I suggested we hire Kitchens as head coach and Bruce under him as Assistant Head Coach to let him show him the ropes. I've also always personally thought highly of Arians, so I'm not disputing he would have been a good hire. To me, it's a moot point as he was never interviewed and was never linked to Dorsey in the coaching search.

I think Kitchens, sitting at 2-5 with the NFL's hardest schedule and a roster that's seen more turnover in two years than most see in five *isn't* the problem in Berea right now and I'm not ready to call it a bad hire. Things soften up considerably from here on out and I hear the Bronco's just benched Flacco? Denver could be a 49+ point game for Cleveland and the slump-buster is so desperately needs to get out of its own way.

Also, I don't know that he's been a great fit for Jameis, so it's tough to make that assumption right now.

No chance Arians comes back as an assistant.
