He's always good for cheap shots in the regular season, too. Had a well-deserved minor against Florida the other night. Glad he's the West's problem, now.

 

Despite all that,(and no guarantee he'll get suspended again). It's hard not to argue at $4.5M AAV it's the best contract in the league (if gets 30 goals).

 

top of my head, Pastrnak and Marchand with better contracts.

Marchand and Kadri make even less with all of the suspensions.
to me its all about the playoffs though and Marchand shines and Kadri......

Yeah, to argue that Kadri has the best contract in the league is absolutely asinine.

I look forward to his next suspension and / or crippling lack of self-control in crucial moments.

 

All better players than Kadri and great contracts compared to many others like Marner and Matthews. To be a three time 30 goal scorer making $4.5M is unheard of and a great deal for the Avs.
If he could avoid the suspensions his grit is valuable and something the leafs could use now.
The Avs wlll be better with him on their team, Barrie has been average so far but I'm expecting that to change. Kerfoot has been good but he's been a very streaky player careerwiae.

 

Flyers down 3-2 pump in 5 goals in 9 min and win 7-4. Odd night from a struggling team. I’ll take it. Hopefully this kick starts them.

Flames put Tobias Rieder on waivers after scoring only one goal in his first nine games. Not sure anyone will pick him up, he showed some promise with the Yotes 4 years back with a 37 point season at 22 years old. He's been often injured the last few years, looks like his career might've just flamed out.
