Vacation is over. Back to reality. nice win Axe. Eagles def is swiss cheese. Dak picked them apart all night. Zeke ran on them at will. So Lane Johnson says the Eagles are coming late to meetings and practice. Great. That's the spirit. Keep not showing up and getting blown out each week! Pederson has lost the team and GM Howie Roseman has done little to stop the bleeding. That SB is in the past and the cracks are showing all over the Eagles. Time to put up or shut up vs the Bills.
Honest question for the group: Why do NFL GM's seem to make it easier for the Patriots? They're already an elite team in the NFL and are moonwalking into the playoffs. If the Falcons were that hell bent to trade (what I believe to be) a solid #2 WR, why trade him for, in essence, a high 3rd round pick?
I would speculate that the offers for Sanu would have been closer to late third from any other competitive team. He's currently the 4th, sometimes the 5th option in the passing game for a team that is going to finish out with a top 10 pick. His value is only going to diminish in this offense over the remainder of the season so this is probably the high water mark for a return on Mohamed. Plus, trading him now equates to the same cap savings that they would get in trading him later ($250k difference). His target share has tanked over the last 3 weeks so with the type of season that the Falcons are putting together there is probably no better time to sell. If they waited, they probably get much less in the off-season (likely an early 5th, IMO). He's 30 years old, never had more than 5 TDs in a season and never cracked 850 yards in a year. I think the Patriots paid better than market value and the Falcons got more than what they probably expected to get.
If players were coming late to meetings and practice after losing by 18 to Minnesota - shame on them. And shame on the leaders/captains of the team as well.
When your team completely bombs and doesn’t live up to the hype they were given in the off-season and your QB looks like a completely laughable turd....it really makes it hard to wanna come on this board and talk football.
getting your ass handed to you by Minnesota and Dallas isn't fun for anyone but Vikings and Cowboys fans.
Why, yes you do. This is the 1st time since 1999 where the Browns had a QB that even had a chance to underperform expectations.
Lyman, brown's fans are some of the most loyal fans on the planet. I was thinking more about the fans fortitude than knocking the browns
What? BWW was crying about the bears and I was just pointed out that you guys don't quit because your team isn't doing anything,
