So then who was it? John Cabot? (Caboto)

Devils don't know who to turn to, both of their goalies can't stop a beachball right now.

It’s amazing how much he gets on his shots when he’s flat footed. Kind of his m.o. just getting it off quickly and not even necessarily aiming for a corner.

No Broon has ever scored 5 goals. Anaheim pulled Gibson, could be history.

Gibson had solid numbers till today...

No history today, just a measly 4

When I saw him at the WJC he was a different player. He looks like underwent a lot of weight training the last few years.

this whole Columbus and discovering America thing is a sham! Indians were here when he arrived, so he wasn't here first. Secondly, Leif Ericson set foot in Newfoundland and other Canadian provinces 700 years before Columbus was born. So technically it was him. Columbus discovered the Bahamas and then went back to Spain. His enslavement of the people marked one of the worst times for human treatment in history.

Where did you see him get pulled? I'm working, so can't watch the game, but there has been absolutely no mention of that I've seen.

He didn't get pulled, nhl.com, had the backups name after the 4th goal.

Tallon has failed this defensive roster at every turn for the last several years. It's paying off, now. This defense is so bad it could again sink an otherwise very talented team. Doesn't matter how good your goalie is when you're teeing up shots for the opposition every few minutes. "Brutal" is being very, very kind to this defense.

I maintain that Trouba was the "get" this team should've been chasing. Bobrovsky + Trouba - Connolly and Stralman = a much better team.

    Who are these Sabres?

They are the professionals in the blue n gold making the green n white look silly. 4-0, 3rd.

Seriously, I like their game... they are fun to watch. Getting some good net-minding right now too. I believe this quick start for them is no fluke either. They are the real-deal, a well balanced attacking team with speed.

Ive enjoyed this MSG feed with Generette(sp) also...

Hell, the coach's name is Krueger, they gotta be good.

Someone forgot to wake up the Capitals... down to the Avs, 4-0, mid-first.
