yes. the eagles secondary and overall defense stink! sidney jones blows. pederson is back to being an average coach with that fake fg bullshit and other calls.

  3. AxeMurderer Legend Cowboys

To me, it doesn't matter. Neither team is a legit contender.

Id like to thank Zach Brown for running his mouth.

    Thanks, Zach!

Dallas plays at home against the Eagles next week. Pederson already said the Eagles are going to win and be in first place and 'control their own destiny'.

This will be an interesting game and I think the smack-talk is just getting started. Some of the things the players say may really fuel the fire between both teams, which is fine by me... I hope its a war, because I think its the National game Sunday night. and if its a dud, i'll probably do my laundry. I hate Laundry! Landry was cool, but laundry sucks !

well someone must win the East ? Someone will have to right the ship fast.

1 loss doesn't dictate the season Axe. i think they are contenders.

Well the Redskins got their first win, they’re full of confidence now and are ready to run the table to win the division! :FAP:

*complete sarcasm if that wasn’t clear

Speaking of the Redskins/Dolphins, anyone else think the Dolphins dropped the ball on the 2 point play on purpose? Looked like the receiver batted that ball down.

  9. AxeMurderer Legend Cowboys

How 'bout that. And he got a bit peeved at games end when reporters asked him about that.

Yeah, it will likely still come down to Dallas or Philly. But as of now neither one looks like they're a threat to do anything come January.

I saw it; just think he didn't look the ball into his hands. Terrible play call though - that had ZERO chance of succeeding if he had caught it.

I’m in the lead in my office pool w/10 wins, 5 others have 9. They ALL have Green Bay. I have Detroit. $200 up for grabs.

  13. SoCalSaint Franchise Player Saints

What's with these odds makers. They had the Saints 1 1/2 point underdogs @ Jacksonville on Sunday. This week they have the Saints 3/ 1/2 dogs @ Chicago. Aren't they watching this team ?? Their good. Bridgewater is a god in NOLA right now.

Eh, back-to-back road games against strong defensive teams; Bears coming off a bye. I get the line.

Saints are a really good team, though.

  15. EvertonBears M.V.P. Bears

That prob is the reason why. But they are missing the fact that the Saints DL is good while the Bears O-Line is made up of 5 corpses and one of those corpses just went on IR.

I think socalsaint is right, Saints should be slight favs for this. Another 12-10?

  16. SoCalSaint Franchise Player Saints

12-10 ?? Fine. I'll take them anyway I can get them. I don't know about them being favorites. Maybe a one point dog. This is the Saints. Outside, on the road, in the cold. With Brees that doesn't always go well. Let's see what Teddy can do.

Kirk Cousins gets the last laugh.

Eagles linebacker Zach Brown, who badmouthed Cousins before facing the Vikings last week, is being released, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Brown and the rest of the Eagles’ defense did not play well on Sunday, with Cousins completing 22 of 29 passes for 333 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-20 Vikings win. If you’re going to talk trash about an upcoming opponent, you’d better back it up, and Brown didn’t back it up.

Presumably Brown was cut because his play on the field hasn’t been up to par, and not because he provided the opponents with bulletin-board material. But his big talk didn’t help.

The 29-year-old Brown, who signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Eagles this offseason, had started all six games this year and played 68 percent of their defensive snaps and 22 percent of their special teams snaps.

    lol.

They traded for Duke Riley earlier and have TJ Edwards in the system. Bradham's hurt. I personally think the Eagles are ready to give Nate Gerry a more consistent role.

The Falcons are bad... and im surprised at just how bad considering the talent on that team. 1-5 so far on the season with the defense being a huge trouble spot. In fact, for the first time in eight years, the Falcons' defense has gone three consecutive games without recording a sack... they didn't even hit Kyler Murray once in the Cardinals game, which blew me away when I heard that.

They just might be the biggest surprise of the season and in a not so good of a way.
