A 0-0 tie with 12 combined interceptions and 9 fumbles....3 of which happen on one individual play.

    0-0 would look really good.

You spoke of Callahan's sub-par record...all I did was respond to it.
I also said I would have suggested to let Garrett go. IMHO he is a glorified offensive coordinator.
If he as a head coach can ever see an NFCCG, I would suspect someone else in his place would see a Super Bowl.

It's 2 separate. Criticism is because you don't give the other team credit. Whining is when you complain poor performance from an intense game

    Your response made no sense.

Pointing out a fact is not whining. Dak Prescott throwing behind receivers and having the ball picked off isn't a brilliant play by Green Bay - it's a poor one by Dallas. A Dallas offensive lineman missing a block or blowing an assignment isn't great play by the Saints - it's poor ones by Dallas players.

I can see you don't understand this, so I'm also going to bail. If you're that hard up for pats on the back, I'm sure there's plenty to go around on the Saints board.

I understand that you spent the time on complaining of poor performance without giving the Saints and Packers due credit for earning their wins.

The Saints could have played better at Dallas last year and with Brees they got 10 points. Did I dwell on it? No.

They still won 13 regular games and one playoff game.

I'm afraid that is what you don't understand.

I happen to think Chicago, Detroit and Green Bay are the 3 worst teams in the NFL. :p :p :p

I wasn't talking about the performance of the Saints and Packers - I was talking about the performance of the Cowboys. This is probably where you're confused.

Clearly you are, because you're still talking about it a year later.

No, this is your confusion....it was BECAUSE you didn't talk about the Saints and Packers performance is why I brought that up.
Can you say they deserved to win without tossing in whatever Dallas was poor at?

I make a point out of it because the similarities of the 2 matches....13-10 and 12-10.
I didn't even mention Brees until now. Maybe with Brees, we could have had 4 TDs instead of FGs.

My point is that both teams in both games played intensely and I gave credit to Dallas for their win.

  13. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Actually, two of the three worst teams.

Antonio Brown to Patriots: Let me play

Originally posted on Pro Football Rumors | By Zach Links | Last updated 10/9/19

Antonio Brown took to Instagram on Wednesday to address the Patriots. His message: “Tell them to call me. They still gotta pay me, so might as well let me earn it.” (video via Michael Hurley of WBZ).

Given the circumstances surrounding Brown and the Patriots’ undefeated record without Brown, a reunion seems incredibly unlikely. At this point, it’s unclear as to whether any other NFL team would consider signing the wide receiver.

While Brown petitions the Patriots to put him back on the field, he’s fighting a series of financial battles against the Raiders and Patriots. In total, Brown is seeking roughly $40M in unpaid salary and bonuses. His grievances are unlikely to be heard until the spring. Reportedly, AB has a good chance of recouping his $9M signing bonus from the Pats, but the rest is pretty iffy.

In recent weeks, Brown has threatened retirement and has wavered about his desire to continue playing. For what it’s worth, agent Drew Rosenhaus insists that Brown wants to play and that teams are interested, pending the league’s investigation into the assault allegations.

Sure - Saints and Pack were the better teams that day and both deserved to win.

Now, can you admit the Cowboys played poorly along the offensive line against the Saints and poorly in general for the first 40+ minutes against Green Bay?

And maybe if Prescott hadn't missed Randall Cobb in the back of the endzone on the second drive Dallas would have won 14-12.

Thank you. It could have spared a bunch of back and forth if I had seen that back on Monday.

Certainly. Dallas played lower than they are capable of along the offensive line against the Saints. So can Seattle and Tampa in their Saints games. I do agree with that first 40+ minutes Dallas played poorly but at that same time the Packers were smoking them on their own field. That's how it was going, to me. The Packers only had 7 points less against the Eagles than they had points over Dallas. Dallas had more points against the Packers than they had points against the Saints.

And one pass from Teddy which went to his receiver went through his hands and into a Dallas defender's hands.

Honestly I was expecting Wil Lutz to get special team honors last week over Dallas but it was Thomas Morstead instead.
It was a Saints kicker, so I was close.

So @Catfish we have our answer for why the Eagles have so many road games now and then get a ton of home games.
The NFL believed the Phillies would make the playoffs, which is why the Eagles will spend all of October on the road.

It's not up to you to determine how much flattery a poster needs to give to a specific team. If you had asked me point blank what I thought of the Saints and Packers performances, I would have given you the answer you were probably looking for. But instead you went for a cheap-shot insult about whining, which tends to be counter-productive to having an intelligent discussion.
