So we've lost Rip Torn and Rip Taylor in the same year. Can Rodney Allen Rippy be far behind...?

 

I tried recalling any memories of Rip Taylor, yeah, hollywood squares. I remember being a kid and wondering why this crazy guy doesn't take the gameshow serious. I think sctv did a parody of him.

 

He was on Hollywood squares to do what he did.

 

i don't recall him on HS but I do recall as a little kid Paul Lynde cracking jokes and laughing all the time.

 

That’s all any of the normal staff did on that show.

 

Paul Lynde had one of the best, most infectious laughs ever.

 

That’s what got him the job on Bewitched

 

Loved that show.

Samantha was hot. Especially when she was cousin Serena.

 

Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, and Hogan's Heroes were my "home sick" go-to shows.

 

And - speaking of hot: Barbara Eden (especially in that genie outfit).

 

Definitely.

But I'd take Samantha Stephens over Jeannie.

Just like I'd take Mary Ann Summers over Ginger Grant.
