I wasn't talking to you. You are disgusting, you make me nauseated.
When you are shown you don't know what you are talking about you poop your diapers, rant, rave, throw a tantrum and call names and attack with personal insults. Get lost.

You can be unhappy about it, but when you make excuses for losing to another quality team, that's being a bad sport.

No kidding. You can also play poorly against a poor team, as I pointed out above.

Only good thing in the Cowboy game was the points Amari Cooper got me.

I didn't call you any names. Last time you went on a temper tantrum I politely asked you to keep in civil on this thread. I'm asking you again. This thread is for football talk. There are other threads you can dish out personal attacks in.

@Tim I never appeal to moderators but do you mind weighing in here and getting someone to change BFRLA's diapers. Please and thank you.

Idiot me left Cooper on the bench, thinking this was going to be a Zeke game, and I put DeMarcus Robinson in in his place figuring Mahomes would bounce back from last week's 0 TD game.

    Won't make THAT mistake again.

Yeah forgot about that Chiefs/Colts game because I beyond drunk by that point.

Pretty strange day for football. Any given Sunday.

If you're not talking to me, then stop quoting me.

This is probably my favorite thread on the entire forum and Will puts in a lot of effort to keep it rolling.

I don’t have to scroll very far back to see where it jumped the shark.

I got no problem with removing the problem, permanently.

That’s all I’m speaking on it.

But the supporting cast was still intact. And Ted hasn't been playing like an inexperienced rookie. Not making many foolish mistakes. That helps.
He doesn't have to put up Brees numbers, just don't lose the game.

There is a huge difference. The Saints opponents were better than the 3 opponents Dallas had. The Texans, Rams and Seahawks are much better this year than the Giants, Redskins and Dolphins.

At the level the Saints Defense is doing, what kind of numbers would the Giants, Redskins and Miami have had if theopponents were swapped?

It was because I was talking to you that I quoted you. :)

We don't know HOW Teddy would be playing because this was his first game.

My point being that with a QB making just his third start in over three years there would be limitations, plain and simple. No reason to "throw him under the bus."

That has absolutely ZERO to do with what Dallas did. Dallas is (or should be) on par with teams like the Texans, Rams, and Seahawks - the Saints first three opponents.

    Through week 4 (I haven't entered data for week 5 yet);
    • The Saints' opponents record (in games not involving the Saints) is 10-2-0, [0.833]
    • The Cowboys' opponents record (in games not involving the Cowboys) is 4-8-0, [0.333]
Clearly, the Saints have played a tougher schedule, so far.

Dallas wasn't Ted's first game as a starter, Seattle was.

Dallas played 2 of their first 3 games at home. The Saints played 2 of their first 3 games on the road.
    All things are not equal.

Hey, the Saints racked up 10 points last year against Dallas. They also racked up 48 points against the Eagles.

My apologies, I thought I was quoting someone else.
I don't quite see you in the same light. Other than Politics and Saints vs Dallas I'll say your are all right, I have said that before.

My apologies to Wil that I was involved in the disruptions here.

Tim - i don't think anyone needs to be banned here. there are far worse acts of unjust posting that are allowed to be posted without any penalties or banishment. the same needs to be applied here. we are all good and solid people and posters. every harvest moon we sometimes go off the rails and go crazy with insults and bad posts. we are human and we make mistakes. the same can be applied here for us. i think a banishment would be wrong and hurtful to the thread.

Comparing opponents is never an exact science. And saying we beat this team so obviously we'd beat a team that isn't as good as them doesn't always add up.

The Vikings beat the Raiders by 20. The Bears defense dominated the Vikings and physically punished them. Then that same Bears defense struggled against the same Raiders team the Vikings manhandled.

The NFL is funny that way.

My error. Still, you're not going to have the same playbook for Bridgewater in that situation as you would for Brees.

I know, I get it. Saints played very well on defense...but Dallas compounded that with terrible offensive line play.

The only sure thing in football right now seems to the Patriots.

That's the best defense in football at the moment.

And their opponents combined record (through week 4) in games not involving the Patriots is 4-7-0 [0.364].
