He's one of the, if not the highest paid coach in the league. He calls the shots and often times makes moves he kmows aren't popular just to send a message that he doesn't care what anyone thinks. He'll never own his failures and is stubborn when it comes to changing things up when they don't work. He has strange loyalties to low talent players.

Spezza went from being a healthy scratch in the first game, (because supposedly he still had to learn the pk). Then last night they had him on he 2nd PP unit. Babbs is a freak.
I think Babcock sets his lineups according to his fantasy team. Shore didn't bag him points so he scratched Shore for Spezza.
