Brees has 24 regular season games where he completed over 80% of his passes in 5 of them he threw 40 or more passes.

BTW he was 23 of 36 in his game vs tampa that isnt even 65% completion percentage.

And even if you did count his preseason 29 of 34 which doesnt count and add it to his regular season you get 55 of 70 or 78.5%. Now to quote Forrest Gump I may not be a smart man but (thank you mister gump) but 78.5 is not over 80%.

Through preseason AND three regular-season games (that's two more "real" games than Danny Dimes), Prescott has completed 75% of his passes...besting Drew Brees' NFL record 74.4%.

What I was getting at is that it's FAR too early to start thinking "playoffs" for the Giants, or start labeling Danny Dimes as "special" because he had a good first outing.

you know, Jarrett Stidham has a 67% completion percentage and has never lost an NFL game. never even held a clipboard for a loss, thats how good he is. his only incompletion actually went for a touchdown.

I like it when the Packers show their weakness and finally get beat at home. Very impressed with the Eagles last night.

That game was a good example of how important your offensive line is.

Eagles O-line beat up the Packers front.

I was concerned in the 1st quarter the opposite was going to happen, the o-line especially on the left/blind side was getting burned, but they adjusted well.

They weren't afraid to stick with the run and it paid off although Wentz was a big factor too.

The Packers D misses alot of tackles and the run D was beaten by both the Vikings and the Broncos. They better address that going forward.

The strength of the Packers D is definitely the pass rush as well as the pass defense on the backend. They cover really well.

But if the run defense continues to suffer they are gonna start to sell out to stop it and teams will shift to attacking them in the air.

Overall the Packers team is better than I expected but for them to continue that path they need to continue to play well on defense like they did in the first 3 games. As great as Rodgers is the talent around him on offense isn't good enough for them to be consistently great on offense.

Please the packers were shocked by howard being part of the game plan that is all.

Well if they were expecting Sanders more....they gave up more yards per carry to him than they did Howard.

    So....

eagles fans have been waiting for it. why else trade for him if not to use him ??? pederson is an odd coach sometimes.

Packers had one of the worst run Ds heading into the game. It wasn't surprising.

...Which is why I think Dallas bounces back next week at home against Green Bay.

Saints started the season by giving up 28, followed by 27 and 27. Week 4 they shut down a good Cowboy's team. Either they played over their heads and over-achieved, or they actually exposed the Cowboys in some way that could be troublesome.

Think the Saints D is better than we saw in Weeks 1-3, but there's no sugar-coating that this was a poor offensive outing by Dallas. The O-line was bad (Zeke couldn't run, while Dak was running for his life), the play-calling was poor, Randall Cobb couldn't catch a cold, Devin Smith was hardly targeted at all, a couple costly turnovers (fumbles by Witten and Elliott)...
