I love this Montgomery kid. Trubisky almost killed him trying to make him jump twice his damn height.

 

Overthrows to Montgomery, should have been an easy throw.

 

Time to find another QB. Any other QB.

 

Nagy would rather be tortured than give Montgomery carries on back to back plays.

I seriously think I could have made most of these throws better than Mitch. A lot of it is in his head, but he was totally flat footed on the high throw to Montgomery

Is it in his head? Or is this just the continuation of what we saw from his downfield accuracy the last 2 seasons? To me he's just not an accurate passer, simple as that.

 

Watched him the whole time, on that TD. Stared him down. That's a two-read play. The first is quick and easy. I still don't think he ever looked away from Gabriel.

Yeah, the praise for Nagy on that drive is totally right. Great call with the T-form run, great goal line pass call.
