I only compared this to Tampa because the Redskins aren't a very good defense, and I was hoping they'd make Trubs look good this week. Opportunity one: gone...

 

For the 2019 season I can't think of a worse starting QB in the NFL save for maybe Josh Rosen.

 

I’m leaning over the edge. First drive was bad considering that was a scripted drive.

Alright, the fan in me is so fucking excited. The defense gets a chance to show out. That's what they needed. They've certainly been playing well enough to have earned a TD.

The cynic in me is saying, "Week 3, and the defense has as many TD's as the offense". Yikes.

This game is so much more important (win or lose) for Mitch and the offense. We know the defense is good and would be ready to play tonight. We know Mitch sucks but we want to see something from him that temporarily takes our mind off that reality.

 

You couple that slipperiness with that power... He's just so remarkably good in so many ways. After all these years, I just relish watching good players play - especially when they're wearing Bears colors.
