Well I'm not officially wrong on my Eagles prediction quite yet. If they win their next one it's still correct.

 

No one does. It appears you're saying, "Backups can't win you games because once they play more than one game they become the starter."

 

That's ridiculous. If the Steelers signed Kaepernick and Rudolph gets injured Kaepernick would have a much better chance of winning a football game than Devlin Hodges.

 

They could have called holding on the 49ers left tackle 10x today - conservatively. I understand why they didn't but doesn't make it right.

When the SNF showed Mount Rushmore with vaunted Browns players heads on it, the first thing I wondered was if they saw your post of that from 4 or 5 years ago.

 

I had forgotten all about that ! I don't think I had Marion Motley on mine, though.

 

I didn't think to check name by name, but the overall picture looked to me like they might've lifted your idea.

 

Poor start for Dallas - outplayed by a dreadful Miami team in the first half. But I like that they made adjustments and were able to quickly turn things around and cruise to a win. As much as I like seeing their offense open up a bit, I like seeing two RBs (Zeke and rookie Tony Pollard) each rush for 100+ yards even more.

 

As an Eagles fan, I'm appalled by their loss last week and this week. Sorry Falcons and Lions nation. Winnable games at the end were bad losses. Too many injuries. Bad play calling. The lack of using RB acquired Howard. Too many dropped passes. Their GM sitting on a ton of cap space and not doing anything with it. Letting Clowney, Fitzpatrick and soon to be Ramsey (headed t0 the Chiefs) go elsewhere is a bad football move. Refs missed an obvious face mask penalty that had the Lions player grip the face mask and turn it 360 degrees around the player's head and then tearing off the helmet! No call ! Nice. Should be 3-0. By Friday morning will be 1-3. Terrible. Better do something fast.
